This is shocking and sad really.

I totally disagree, I think they should suffer WAY more.

Well said. Since this is a Disney forum, i wont get into the undisney like things that should be done to these sickos with items commonly found at a Home Depot.

Just remember that Gators need food, too. Theres your circle of life....

I was very overprotective of my children (people called me the smother mother), but, IMHO, you cannot be overprotective or too careful.QUOTE]

I think I need a t-shirt that says that. I agree with you. But I don't want her to be afraid of everything and everyone. I want her to careful but not afraid. But I do tell her that not all monsters look like monsters. We've practiced the "help, someone is trying to grab me" scream. It's sad when you have to do these things.

I know this is going to sound a bit odd, but I really do hope it was at PO French Quarter. I am positive that Disney would cooperate fully with an investigation and therefore we might have some chance of catching the horrible people who have ruined this poor little girl's life!!! If this was done in a Motel 6 or some other run of the mill hotel, I dont think we stand a shot of being able to catch them!!! Belle

Ok, so, we should not mention the tree trunk about 4-5' off the ground, a couple of nails, hammer and to end the fun, pushing the guy over backwards?
Ok, no problem, I won't mention it. ;)

Is this something new? I know I stayed there years ago and they did not have them.
They've been there since 2001.

Aligator Bayou at Riverside doesn't have elevators, but the mansions do.

What, pray tell, does the resort have to do with any of this? If you like PO, then stay there. Really, I was waiting for someone to make a comment like yours. It could have happened anywhere. Perhaps because it happened at Disney at all, you should stay away from Disney entirely.

No need to snap at me. I know it could have happened anywhere. I really do hope the sickos that did this get caught and punished accordingly (castration without anesthesia and rusty surgical instruments preferrably). I still love DisneyWorld no matter what, but I just meant to say that knowing that something like that happened in the magic kingdom of all places kind of puts a damper on the disney experience to me personally. Perhaps I should have phrased things a bit more appropriately, but it's a bit too late for that, isn't it?

And i think our point, collectively, is that it happens everywhere and the abusers of children should be punished in an old testiment, wraith of god, fire and brimstone way.

Things like this shouldnt be tolerated.

Once found, in order to show that Disney will not tollerate this type of activity, they should sue whats left of the degenerates into oblivian for damaging the character and name of Walt Disney.

Then, IMHO, the responsible lowlifes should be rolled around naked in shards of glass then sprayed with a mixture of vinager, gasoline and salt, then set under a giant magnifying glass at sun up and left to wait in agony until the sun's heat, channelled by the magnifying glass, ignites the gasoline. Before death, the fire should be put out and the remaining flesh stripped off their body.

I agree it can and does happen anywhere. This isn't about Disney. The thing that concerns me the most is how many of the places were puplic places. (not just in the hotel room) For example an arcarde, a fountian (it does look a bit like the POFQ fountain) evelvator and other places where they could be caught. WDW is a busy place and they had to feel pretty confident and comfortable to do these acts on camera in these places.

If the place is open all the time, then it is busy. If it isn't open then they need special access and that conerns me.

We are going WDW in a few weeks. My 13 year neice and 2 DD are coming with us. I am not more cocerned for their safety after reading this. (but then again I don't tend to let the little ones out of my site and the 13 year old is rather well versed on self defense.)

Ok I got the photo album out from March 1997 stay at POFR, the fountian is the one out near the rooms (I have a few pictures of it) and the bedspread are the same as in the picture. (just the same.) The amoire is the same, the room lay out the same. The arcade, elelvtor and other rooms I can't identify.

The thing is, this girl has been used for o over and over. They took her there (among other places it sounds like). The people doing the asulting and taking the pictures were not strangers. This is not a random grab a child and assult them case. People are no less safe there right now because of this, and it was years ago.

Just for the record, I did not snap at you. I also did not comment on what I thought of your comment. Frankly, I feel I displayed great control. :)

I know this is late, but I like the way you think =) Heh...and who knows why people do things like this but they should be punished period.
