MK hours extended to 10 pm tonight.

Food and Wine Fest and EMH at DHS are still not eating enough guests.

Crazy???

MMSSHP 3 of 4 nights does not help either.

The good news, Disney seems healthy. I see more CMs now by a long shot over January. Keep those hard workers happy.

Not summer bad but much worse than I have ever seen value season over the past decade.

I would be much more interested in Quick Service Free Dining in the future though. Many people are very angry at not getting reservations.

It is nice that they have added double Fantasmic on all Fantasmic nights. They had no where near enough options in January.

It is MUCH busier than mid Jan was.

This is what I thought too when we were there this month. We had been the very same week two years ago and the crowds were nothing like they were this year. Now we are looking for some other time to go, like maybe November or the first of December. We had a great time but it was pretty busy, especialy at night.

What is this low season you speak of? I have heard of this mythical beast but there has not been a sighting in quite some time.

Apparently you've never been during peak season. Waiting five minutes for Splash Mountain at 6:00 is not crowded... not by a long shot.

How can MK hours be extended tonight til 10pm? MNSSHP starts at 7pm today, October 1st.

I was just in WDW from Sept 13-19. I always come to Disney during the end of September. I have never seen the parks more crowded in all my years.

There were a lot of families present with children - I'm not sure if school start up times are different - but I was guessing a lot of parents took their kids out of school.

That's the week that we were there. (11th - 20th) We also pulled our children out of school thinking we would avoid the fall break crowds. My DH thinks it was less crowded during fall break. LOL

Yep. Even the less-busy times are now busy. Oh well. Join the flock or go home, huh? It's a true test of our obsession.

Us WDW fans need to adopt a new approach similar to reverse-reverse psychology. Pulling your kids from school or going to WDW during September, January, etc. has become really popular to avoid crowds which has created crowds so now we should all go during school breaks. It's funny when ya think about it. Sorry y'all had crowds, tho. Last January we were rather surprised at how many more people seem to be there from past January's. I suppose nowadays the only advantage is less $$ to go but even the number of value season dates seem to be dwindling in comparison to pass years. Again, a true test of our obsession, huh? LOL! Ah! An idea for a new marketing gimmick: What will YOU be willing to do??? I like it!

Canada's. :king:

Yes, the trading of animal pelts never seems to waiver. :p

My parents used to pull me and my sister from school the week before Thanksgiving and go, way back in the late seventies to the mid eighties. We were unlucky if we had to wait more than ten minutes for anything.

Not so anymore. There's still quieter times, but not like that.

Yeah, yeesh. There's enough political discussion everywhere else.:hammer:

I don't know about the rest of you, but I come here to worry about
things like lift hills, tarps, giant hats, and other vastly more important
stuff.
