Arby's...haven't been there in quite awhile. I always got a Roast Beef & Cheddar sandwich with Horsey Sauce. (never liked the name of that; it always made me question the origin of the "roast beef". :lookaroun

**think I'll stick to soup & salad at TGIFriday's or Chili's for lunch.**

Sorry, folks. There is only ONE King of the Colon, and that's:

WHITE 'freakin' CASTLE. :king:

Thats what I grew up on. My dad used to eat 10 of them himself!
(one bag for him and another for the rest of us. )

Anyone remember that episode of the Simpsons where all the kids are stuck on an island?

Sherry (or Terry): "I'm so hungry, I could eat at Arby's."

Rest of kids: "Woooooooooow!"

Was that the "Lord of the Flies" episode?

erm...that sounds like that might have been the title.

It's the one where Otto drives the bus over a bridge and all the kids end up washing up on a desert island (and at the end are "rescued by someone...let's say...Moe.")

Moderation is the key Folks.

Too much of ANYTHING is unhealthy.

I could never eat McDonalds for a month.:hurl:

I live near Chicago and we have lots of culinary options so here's what I do:

I drive to KFC and get some Chicken strips, then go to Steak N Shake and get a Vanilla Shake, swing past Burger King for some fries, run over to White Castle and get a Bag of Burgers for my freezer so when I feel the need for an alcohol induced grease bomb I have something available.

Life is short....induldge and enjoy!!!

I agree - Chick-fil-a burgers are delish! :slurp: (but we do´t have it here).
Chick-Fil-A sells only chicken, no burgers....

Now, get a Whopper w/cheese from BK, fries from McD's or Checkers, a chocolate shake from Steak N Shake, and a cherry turnover from Arby's.

OR

you can simply go to Cheeburger Cheeburger and get the best burger with anything on it and wonderful fries and any kind of shake known to mankind, but be prepared to pay through the nose for it....but worth it. :slurp:

Thanks Scott! I meant chicken sandwiches but I didn´t know how to call them since they use the same kind of bread as the burgers... hehehe :)

When McDonalds
mcdonald.gif
first opened in my neck of the woods, hamburgers (no cheeseburgers) were 15 cents. Fries 9 cents. Milkshakes 12 cents.

That was pretty much the entire menu.

I honestly don't think Americans can live without junk food. It fits in with our life-styles too easily! Well, we demanded super-sizing and we got it...BIG time! ....now, Mc'Ds is finally ending the super-size program.

Shannon, I've seen your picture and I always figured you as a 'bamboo shoots and hickory nuts' type of person.

They need to get rid of the double cheeseburgers in the big kid's meal. Those things practically sweat grease and there seems to be more of it then the burger itself. I should know about it because I ate at least 8 or so of those things to collect the Bionicle cards that came with Big Kids Meals 2 years ago. After all, the only reason I eat kid's meals is for the toys. It's to the point where my mom jokes that she ordered " A cheeseburger with a toy on the side" for me whenever she brings back fast food.
