Things you never understood about the parks, that maybe somebody can explain

I don't get why they don't put more interactive queues. Everyone loves them and wouldn't complain about lines as much.

I'm probably not your average guest, but I accept lines as a part of the theme park experience. There are so many things that I (and whole families) can do to pass the time, and I'd much rather see that money be invested elsewhere.

I agree. I don't mind lines overally much either. Plus we always try and go offseason which helps. But little additions like they did with Peter Pan do help.

I might actually just wait in the standby line for Peter Pan just to see that when I go! (which is probably the opposite of what they want since I won't be spending money). But overall I'd rather see new attractions, unless they come up with a queue that is spectacular (I have to say I do think HM is kind of cool, especially since they give you the option to skip it). I am not above bringing a book with me and reading in line if it's more than 30 minutes haha.

A bus to/from the monorail resorts to MK only runs if the monorail is out of service. Otherwise it is monorail, boat (GF, Poly) or walk (CR).

I think WDW should add a bus route from the MK that goes to the Contemporary, Wilderness Lodge, Polynesian and Grand Floridian. Either that or figure out a way to make the Monorail Resort Loop strictly for Monorail Resort Guests at the end of the night. Not having any option but walk to get back to the Contemporary is unacceptable for a disabled person.

The new standby queue for Peter Pan is better than the actual ride! Do it if the posted wait is under 45 minutes. It is worth the wait.

There is no longer an option to "skip" the extended Haunted Mansion queue. That line is now FP only. If you ride standby, you will need to walk through the entire thing, even if it's not crowded.

Well that bums me out. I mean it wasn't that much of a time-saver or anything, but it was nice to have that option.

OMG. They still open the noodle station sometimes?! Hahaha, my husband actually asked me about that place a couple of days ago and I laughed at him and said something like, "Psssh, that thing's been closed for YEARS, honey." Oops. I honestly didn't even realize it was still an actual restaurant sometimes.

Because if you're sitting, you're not spending money. (In other news, the cynicism on this board has finally rubbed off on me.)
There must be another reason, because the fact is that if your feet hurt and your legs hurt you are less inclined to go to stores. You leave the park and to your hotel. I feel that it must be due to room and preventing bottlenecks and eliminating trip over and kids falling off of, objects. Or maybe the birds have found them to be handy places to "do their business" and they are tired of cleaning them up or having guest sit on them and getting their clothes all dirty. In fact, there might be hundreds of reasons, but, I really don't think it is the spending money angle. Unless, there are benches in the stores, more money will not be forthcoming.

That makes a lot of sense...I was half joking because money is basically the standard response on here to nearly every question. I wouldn't be surprised if it has something to do with "safety" (because parents can't control their children).

In the attraction Enchanted Tales with Belle....how does Lumiere work? I mean this one bit on imagineering is honestly one of the smallest and yet breathtaking AA's I have ever seen. The fluid movements and the face projection are flawless. I balked at going into this on our last trip but I just sat there in amazement watching him.

If you have never been I highly recommend going...it's not just for kids if you pay attention to the details...
