Victoria & Albert's

Dinner at Victoria & Albert's has been a key "never done" thing for us, but I just made our reservations for our dinner there during our Food & Wine Festival trip in October. I'm always excited for our Disney trips, but I did not realize how much I was looking forward to this special treat 'till I was in the process of making the reservation. I'm so excited!! :sohappy: :slurp:

I must admit, I was also quite happy to hear that they honor the DDE card ...

There are a quite a few things I haven't done but I can't remember them all right now! Here are a few to get me started.

1. Splash Mountain (this is becoming a running joke!)
2. Tom Sawyers Island
3. Swiss Family Tree House
4. Tower of Terror
5. Been to the Grand Floridian
6. Eaten at Le Cellier
7. Got through a day without moaning about my aching feet
8. Ended a Disney Day without being tired!
9. Been in a single park from opening to closing
10.Entered a park for morning EMH (but have only stayed on property once)

Can't wait to go back and am making a decision now that 1,6 and 10 are definates next time. 4 is something I really want to do but keep using the very convenient 'don't want to leave other half on his own while I ride' excuse.:ROFLOL: I'll try really hard with 7 and 8 but don't see them happening!

Things I haven't done, but would like to:

- Stay in a MK-view room at the Contemporary
- Have a meal at every resort (except the values)
- Relates to the above I guess, but Hoop-de-doo is a must on my next trip (whenever that happens to be...)
- See Nemo: The Musical (by the time we got in the looooooong line for the show in 45 minutes last February, I was too exhausted to stand that long.)
- Visit the water parks, at least once each. I'm not too big on water parks, but hey, it's Disney.
- Go to a morning EMH
- Spend an evening hangin' around the Boardwalk
- Take ANY of the tours
- Eat at Le Celliar (I can't believe I missed it last time..)
- Spend an evening at The Adventurer's Club / Improv Comedy club
- Bring my nephews to see it through their eyes
- Watch Wishes! from the Poly beach with the boy

wow... I'm gonna have to get cracking on this list =)

4 is something I really want to do but keep using the very convenient 'don't want to leave other half on his own while I ride' excuse.

Haha, my boyfriend is scared of drops, my best friend is scared of heights, and I hate elevators. ToT is not a good ride for us. But I went on it by myself because I was absoltuely determined, and the fact that I was seated next to a four-year-old who was SOEXCITED to go on his very favorite ride definitely made me feel better about the experience. Now it's one of my favorite rides too, right behind Splash Mountain.

Ooooohhhh man, some of you haven't lived! I gotta say.

*sigh* but..I guess I haven't much yet either?

I have yet to....

-Ride Everest (everytime i go, it's with a lady friend who's afraid of heights, I refuse to go on and leave her behind)
-Finish a whole itsakadoozie by myself (you wouldn't believe how many relative moochers i have)
-Go to Pleasure Island solely for a whole night at the Adventurer's Club
-Get "The Kitchen Sink" at Beaches N' Cream (not to mention...go with 6 friends or so to finish the beast off)
-Get a biiiig framed portrait at an "Art of Disney" Store.
