It always seems like before a disney trip there is always a worry. I know Purel is my best friend the week before. I am always afraid of getting stuck on I 95 or a favorite attraction will be closed.

A sudden and unexplained jump in the projected crowd levels, two weeks before a trip, will always do it for me...

My biggest thing is hoping and wishing someone doesnt get sick...the flu, a cold, stomach virus.....it never seems to fail...SOMEONE always gets something, an ear infection, never fail.

Oh yes, how could I forget! I always had anxiety about leaving my house, for the past few years we have a house sitter because I couldnt relax during vacation.

I have to stop watching TV.

We bribe the neighbors with Disney goodies when we get back to keep an eye out for us.

I think weather is usually my biggest concern. I usually expect crowds so that does not worry me to much.. Of course I am always worried about how much money I am going to spend on merchandise etc. but then as soon as I'm there my worries usually fade away.

My two biggest worries would definitely have to be sickness and weather. Out of our group of 6 of six of us, we have been pretty fortunate on our past trips that no one has gotten ill just before or during one of our vacations. My wife had a day thing last trip, but got over it pretty quick with some rest.

I also always worry that we are going to get down to Florida and discover that they are in the midst of a cold snap or some extended rain front is passing through. Luckily, neither has come true on any of our 3 previous trips. Here's hoping it holds true for trip 4 in March of 2011!! :)

Sorry, just remembered my biggest fear before a WDW trip....CAR TROUBLE!!!! Or more specifically, van problems. Had my van completely die on me along the I-94 in Detroit at around 3am during our very first trip down to the World back in March 2005. Lucky for us we were only an hour or so away from home still and I was able to get it started again. I phoned my parents and they met us back at our house and switched vehicles with us so that we could start the LONG drive over again. Took a month or so after our return for a mechanic to finally diagnose what was wrong with the van. Have gotten a new one since then and am thankful every day that I have got the world's best parents!!!! :sohappy:

As its a 15 hour drive (which we will begin next Friday!!) I am always a bit anxious until I am there...things that could go wrong with the car along the way, the weather, etc.

I've always been obsessed with the weather reports before I leave. This past year I arrived August 18th, amidst the landfall of hurricane Ana. I got into a fit of hysterics when I first heard about it. I literally checked the weather reports and the hurricane websites every hour for the last 24 hours before we left. Needless to say, we lucked out and it didn't effect our trip at all, minus a few extra rain showers.

I also obsess over any refurbs that interfere with Cinderella Castle. It's so stupid but I freak out. The crane appeared for the first time ever for us also on this last trip in August when they started putting up the lights. I had a mini temper tantrum about it and then immedietly got over it.

Every time we fly I notice a bunch of airplane crash shows on t.v. a few weeks before our trip. It gives me the creeps!

US TOO!!! There won't be one of those shows on tv, we decide to fly, and then 2 weeks before we're set to fly out...BOOM. EVERY airplane disaster movie EVER made comes on tv, sometimes more than 1 channel!! Last year, not only did those shows come on tv, there were a couple of actual crashes during that time.

The first year we went, we flew. My son would turn 7 while we were at WDW. The week before we were to fly out, my son asked me "What would it be like to die in a plane crash?" My response (after a few seconds of stunned silence) was "I don't know. I've never died in a plane crash." So for the rest of the week, he would ask questions about dying. WHAT? WHY NOW? So, we get to the airport in Shreveport, LA, board the plan - no problems. Get on the plane in Atlanta, GA, and the pilot taxis out, and passes over the runway. My sister had worked for an airline in Hot Springs, AR, was with us, and she leans over and says, "something's up. We just passed the runway." About that time, the pilot comes on the speaker and says "Sorry for the delay, folks, but we've had a warning light to come on and, you know, with FAA, we have to cross the T's, and dot the I's. We understand this is a minor setback for you, but hopefully we'll have this situation fixed, and this minor delay will be cleared up."

I leaned over to my sister, and said "If it needs a warning light, IT'S NOT MINOR!!!" After about 30 minutes the pilot comes back on the speaker and says "Maintenance has reset the system, and we're cleared for take-off." So as we taxi down the runway, I'm thinking "ok, son, this is it. This is when we find out about crashing." Fortunately we arrived safe & sound in Orlando, had a perfect trip, then got back to the airport.

First the ticket agent sent us to the wrong gate. We were NOT going to Philadelphia! Found the correct gate. Plane delayed 3 hours due to radar going down in California, which is where our plane was coming from. I had requested a lengthy layover when I booked the flight to do a little touring in Atlanta airport and thank goodness I did!

As we arrived in Atlanta, 3 1/2 hours behind schedule, we had 5 minutes to get to the next gate. The flight attendant asked those who did not have connecting flights to stay seated and that there were attendants at the gate to direct those who were in a hurry to get to the next flight. I took my son's hand and told him to hang on. If he falls, I'll drag him!

We run like 4 idiots through the Atlanta airport, to the shuttle, because of course, our next flight is on the OTHER SIDE of the airport!! We arrive at the gate to find out that it is DELAYED! We sit close to the gate counter and overhear the attendant talk about maintenance on the plane. I ask why they were on the plane and they said "they had issues with the brakes when they landed." I must have looked relieved somewhat because he said what would have been a wrong answer. I said "uh, engine failure?" Please Lord, just let us get home. They board us, and you can hear all this pounding and shaking. Someone toward the front of the plane asked what was going on. "Oh, they're putting the tires back on the plane." WHAT? We were boarded and they hadn't even put the tires back on????

Anyway, 4 planes, 3 different issues. We made it home in one piece. It took 5 more trips before I could get my dad or my son BACK on a plane!!!!
