Things that make you cry

1) Golden Dreams at AA (this one has become an almost Pavlovian response- hear music-start crying)
2) Wishes
3) The film at the end of One Man's Dream
4) It used to be that when we left I'd get weepy as we left the property, but after buying DVC we know we are coming back soon (usually already scheduled)
5) Seeing an empty animation studio at DHS (more anger than sadness as to what's become of this once great attraction)

I'm a big crier at Disney too! I think it's just the flood of anticipation, happiness, and exhaustion all put into one week :)

The things that set me off are:
(1) walking into the lobby of Wilderness Lodge for the first time
(2) seeing the opening ceremony
(3) Walking down Mainstreet and seeing the castle
(4) the first part of Wishes (when the kids' are talking about wishes)
(5) the first ride on Soarin'
and...
(6) the check out papers - both because we're leaving and because of my room charges...

i think working there and living in the area helped me get some of that crying out of my system. no matter how many times i see it, parts of wishes make me tear up. i also get emotional waiting for big thunder mountain because it was one of my mom's favorite rides (she'd laugh THE ENTIRE TIME and we always made fun of her). and pirates because that was my mom's absolute favorite ride. i remember riding it at dl with her for the first time, and how many times we rode it together when we lived in florida.

I'm not ashamed to admit I tear up occasionally at WDW

-The old (so sorry it's gone!!!!) DME video... talk about emotional!
-One Man's Dream
-Wishes - especially the Peter Pan part about not wanting to grow up
-Illuminations, especially the opening
-Epcot entrance music. To quote someone above, it's nearly Pavlovian.

Expected sobby moments from our upcoming trip:
-MK opening at 7:50am (our first time going early enough to see it!)
-MK kiss goodnight (our first time staying late enough!)

I always tear up when I get out of our car and am standing in the parkinglot of the resort to go and check-in. It's that point in time that I know I am in Disney World and am in the happiest place on earth. I know here I can be a kid again and do so. WDW is really a special thing to me and means so much to be there and just take in all the atmosphere and all there is to do and see. My life is good but when I am in Disney World, it seems a tad better with a spinkle of Magic.

To the folks who whine about FP+, tour groups, paying for soda, Mine Coaster construction time, any attraction that's gone, MagicBands or keeping up with Universal: I hope you've read these and take them to heart. Disney must be doing something right to get these kind of response from seemingly lucid adults. For Crissakes- enjoy it!
