Things people complain about at WDW, but don't bother you at all

1. The Florida Heat - I actually kind of enjoy it. It's part of the experience, at least when you're in the summer, getting hotter than heck, then BOOM, ahhhhhhh....Air conditioning!!!

2. Monster's Inc. Laugh Floor - This little charming attraction sure as anything doesn't fit the theme of Tomorrowland, but for what it's worth, I thoroughly enjoy going on it.

3. The Lines - I don't mind waiting in line for a stellar attraction, especially if I have many days at WDW. Waiting an hour for Space Mountain is completely justifiable in my mind, as is waiting 70 minutes for Splash Mountain. I seriously DO NOT mind!! But with that having been said...I also don't mind this:

4. FASTPASS - Great addition, it gets a bad rep here and there, but I find it quite convenient especially on trips where my days are limited.

Dinoland USA doesn't bother me. People say "it looks cheap" and things like that but that's the intention. The story behind the land includes this road stop area. I like the area and I think it's fun. Just my opinion.

Also, I like the refillable mugs and I like the nescafe...

What story does the hat tell at the end of Hollywood Boulevard?

It tells the story of Disney message board fanatics scorned. It calls out to those same people: See me, get angry about me, purchase pins from my wonderful shop that is housed within the innards of my being.

I too will stop the thread drift, and I apologize for contributing to it here. My final word is this: I think we can all agree that the Hat would be better if it had...I don't know...the Wand attached to it? :ROFLOL:

Heading for the great escape.
The mad mentalists who are unique in their dress sense, personal habits and obsession with fictional characters. True they should be in a special place but what harm do they do really.

Many people on here have commented on the food prices and WDW is actually not expensive compared to many other forms of entertainment. Go to the US Open for tennis in NYC....you will never again complain about food prices @ WDW.

Also, the prices for t-shirts are also less compared to pro sports t's and concerts. T-shirts at the RUSH concerts last summer were $35. IMO, $25 for a t-shirt is normal nowadays.

I would also say that in general Disney is not nearly as expensive as people make it out to be. Sure it costs a lot, but when you compare the price of a Disney ticket to other amusement parks and look at what all you get in regards to rides, shows and other entertainment it really isn't overpriced, relatively speaking.

Even though it's not built yet, the Circusland seems to getting lots of negative feedback. They could do some really cool stuff with that theme and it's definitely a huge improvement over their weak version of toontown that it's replacing.

Also, Tom Sawyer Island. I guess it's hateable if you don't like Mark Twain but if you don't like Mark Twain then I have to question whether or not you're a real person.

I can think of a few...mainly waiting in lines. Would it be great to simply walk on everything? Absolutely! But I really have no problem waiting in line for an attraction, especially those with great queues. I figure a long wait in line at Disney is better than a day in the office.

I Don't have a problem that Winnie the Pooh replaced Mr. Toad.

I like the Sea's with Nemo and Friends.

And finally, I really like the giant hat in Hollywood Studios. I know that a good majority do not and rightfully so as it does cover up the view of the theatre, but I think it's a great centrepiece for the park. Again, just my opinions!

Or a real American? Lol.

Uhm, so.

1. Lines. I don't mind lines so much. I mean when we get into 100+ min wait, no way, but I have no problem waiting for 70 min like above poster mentioned. I get to spend time with my loved ones and make memories.

2. Fastpass. I love it and know how to use it. :)

3. The SSE descent. It just doesn't bother me that much.

4. All-Star resorts. Sure, they're no Poly, but I'm not offended by the cartoon decor.

I agree with this one. We went on a trip a few years ago in March and wore jeans and hoodies everyday. I thought "hey, I can experience this same weather at home!" but any heat...too much of it...will just wear you down. I like a comfortable heat of wearing shorts and t shirt but not so much that it's unbearable. I want to come home with somewhat of a tan!

Thank you. Tom Sawyers Island is one of my favorite areas of the park. I hope Disney never gets rid of it.

people who don't move all the way down to the end of the row on a slow day (and the cast members announce (move about two thirds of the way down)

flash photography

people rejoining their party after getting out of the line for some reason

fast passes

Hysterical. You like these things?

I agree! This is a very welcome change for me when we head to WDW. The heat and humidity is very nice compared to this cold, Canadian weather I am accustomed to.

I was very surprised to see so many folks in heavy coats, wearing gloves and toques while we wore shorts and t-shirts during our last Christmas visit. Though it didn't take much for people to guess where we were from!
