Things at Disney Land everyone seems to dislike that you enjoy?

I also find that despite it's randomized show scenes, it has less repeat-ability for me than the original.

Maybe because all Star Tours are the same, but it's not that interesting anymore. It also hasn't been "new" in almost a decade.
The story just isn’t there.

Everyone that criticizes Star Tours 2.0 is high.

Finding Nemo Submarine Voyage. I'm just happy that the submarines are back.

I may despise Pixar's 'Nemo' characters, but I love the Submarine Voyage Attraction.
As much as I don't care for the branded overlay, I am very thankful the Subs still exsist and can still be enjoyed today.
Those annoying cartoon fish were the only thing that apparently could save them from removal, so I have had to learn to tolerate hearing the word 'Nemo!' said abot 60 times during the excursions.
Smal price to pay to still be able to slip 'beneath the waves' in those submarines.

Easy to see why that is ....

Original Star Tours - Tony Baxter and his team.
Revised Star Tours - Tom Fitzgerald and his team.

Yep.... has Fitzgerald ever actually improved an attraction he's been tasked with modifying? Admittedly, I don't know much about his career- though I know he's also responsible for Constance.

Edit too add- the same goes with Kim Irvine. I'm not aware of any project she's done that I think couldn't be drastically improved, or is actually 'better' than what was there before.

Star Tours was really long in the tooth when it was finally updated. I enjoyed it too, but it was totally showing its age. I mean, how many times can this possibly be the robot's first flight?

Star Tours II isn't perfect, but it's still fun and delivered exactly what a lot of people wanted from an update: new destinations! I enjoy all that stuff. The water landing and fish attacking the ship, podracing, Coruscant, snow battle etc. The scenes are well done. I also like seeing real Star Wars characters in it like Vader and Yoda, even if it is a bit silly. But it's a Disney theme park ride based on space popcorn movies for children, so...

I think any issue I have with it is more regarding upkeep, so to speak. They've only slapped in scenes advertising the Disney movies and Galaxy Edge to switch things up.

Disney really needs new people that know what they’re doing and aren’t just pushovers who know how to work the system. The track record of Kim Irvine is downright embarrassing. Project Curb Stomp and the plastic Instagram castle are reason enough to demote her to where she can’t make any further decisions.

The problem is new people never know what they are doing because they are NEW. You can't change a business you never worked for before.

I'll really throw some of you for a loop:

We actually had a lot of fun on SuperStar Limo. Thought it was just ridiculous and cheesy enough that we had a lot of fun riding it. Haven't been on the replacement yet (coming in October!!), but we were happy that we got a ride on it before it was gone. Thought it really got more hate than it deserved in the "it's cool to hate everything DCA" wave. I'll admit it wasn't a fantastic ride, but it wasn't as bad as so many made it out to be.

photo is before the ride started taken by a cast member for us. Boy I wish I was that thin again... lol
