Future World...Love walking into Epcot and seeing Spaceship Earth, hearing that great music, the fountain when its going off, riding Test Track, seeing the Lands and Seas Pavillions, the beautiful gardens and flowers throughout.
For me also. Walking into Epcot is a I have arrived moment for me. I am on vacation. Seeing SSE (first attraction we go on) and hearing the music throughout. When we go to WDW, we always do Epcot first and for 2 days.

I can't believe no one else has voted for Morocco as their favorite themed area (also the best counter service food)! I love that area, walking around really gives the feeling of being at a bazaar.
Least favorite has to Chester and Hester's
I agree about Morocco. Forgot to list it.

For the former, I found the Moroccan Kefta Sandwich to be quite tasty. As to the latter, Chester & Hester's is that goofy little carnival area in the Dinoland section of Animal Kingdom.

I like the theming in Frontierland, especially as seen from the Liberty Belle. Something about that relaxing trip around Tom Sawyer's island that's special to me. . . At least in terms of soaking up the atmosphere.

Ok thanks for the suggestion and isn't that "mouse trap" like ride in Chester Hester's??? My kids love that... Otherwise i agree there isn't much to it there :)

Chester and Hester's is an odd little area in Dinoland which doesn't seem to quite fit in. However, there is a back story to the area and why it is there. The ride is the Disney version of a ride called "The Wild Mouse" which we first encountered at some amusement park (forgot which) over twenty years ago. Originally the ride vehicles did not spin. This ride is also at Disneyland/California Adventure. It's actually more fun than it looks.

Spend some time in Restaurantasaurus, especially looking up at the ceiling.
Get a feel for what the intended story of the theme is and see if you still hate it.

I wasn't talking about Restaurantosaurus. I was talking about the area in general, and my opinion still stands. Clearly I'm not the only one who feels that way either... I've seen countless other remarks about this on other threads. I just looked at pictures of the restaurant online, and from what I can tell it has a neat theme to it. Doesn't change the fact that the rest of the area just doesn't make me feel like I'm still in a Disney park.

Again, just my opinion.

I enjoy all of the park entrances. I like stopping and looking at the animals around the OASIS in AK. You just can't beat Main Street USA! Spaceship Earth is so cool, especially as you get closer and closer to it! World Showcase, especially Japan is just beautiful! DHS Chinese Theater ( enough said- LOL).:D

Animal Kingdom is the best out of any park. Though I've never been in the park at night. World Showcase is amazing. I just love walking at night around the world, I would love it more if if wasn't so crowded. The best pavilion, I think, architectural is France. Though the UK holds a place in my heart.

If you think of Main Street at MK as a slice of Americana from a specific time and place, then so is Dinoland. It's part of those old road trips Americans took, and the nostalgia of those tourist traps and cheap attractions, as idealized as Main Street USA.

I understand that everyone on these boards already gets that, but with Main Street USA, the average guests moves past when they think, and accesses their emotions and nostalgia for the illusion that doesn't really exist.

There is a difference between simply understanding that theme, and taking it that to that emotional, nostalgic level. Main Street accomplishes that, and Dinoland doesn't. Why?

I wonder. . . Is this an example of the theme itself being poorly executed or is there a general lack of feeling about this aspect of Americana, and the theme should never have been attempted?
