LMAO   Your husband got in on the action too? If he did, that makes your story all the funnier because I can just imagine two boys and a grown man getting excited over hand dryers

Oh yeah it was great fun. They made me check the women's bathrooms for them too. It was look there's another bathroom. People must of thought we were insane. We were in line for Space Mountain and my hubby and boys were discussing that they could see the bathroom from line and making plans to "check it out" right after the ride. People in line with us must have thought we were the weirdest family. Next time you go to Disney find those hand dryers they have them in Epcot somewhere and I think in DAK they are in the bathrooms near Kali River and they are a great deal of fun. Quite powerful. Noone understands the hand dryer thing until they experience them for themselves. Another marvel of technology.

Last April, Larson was working at the theme park when a family from New York asked him to find a bathroom for the 4-year-old girl.

Ummmmm.... Why, why WHY did the family ask an employee to take the little girl to the restroom? Why couldn't someone in the family have taken her? That's just... absolutely mind-boggling. Makes no sense at all.

The most mind boggling thing to me is how a 1.5 yr. old thread got bumped.

I do agree, I wouldn't even dare have a child taken to the bathroom by anyone other than a family member.

" Which this reminds me....I went after my boys in a restroom in Florida. Stevie B's we went for dinner and they had to go to the bathroom they went in and I was waiting and waiting and thought what is going on. I knocked on the door and said Mom coming in and opened the door. There my boys were playing with the hand dryers. These hand dryers are so strong they push the skin back and they thought that was so cool."

I know exactly what you're talking about Careship. Last year while at WDW, we ate at Stevie B's and experienced those hand dryers!!

They have them in DAK too. Can you imagine everyone wondering what we are talking about and there being a huge line at the bathrooms by Kali River? They better put in a fastpass there quick. LOL

 If you've never experienced them, it's hard to explain it. I didn't realize they had them at DAK. We'll have to look for them during our trip in Aug. :D

The boys said they are right there in the bathrooms near the fastpasses for Kali River...how pathetic is it that they know right where those bathrooms are but can get lost walking around the block?

Huh? I am not talking about disney. I'd never heard of a thing like that in Disney ever. It was a security guard at the Florida Mall almost 11 years ago that told us that about the mall. Not about DIsney.I would say. My mom was still alive then. So it had to be at least 10 years ago. The security guard to make this post clear as well as the last, he was talking about in the Mall not in Disney. My point was I'd never heard of problems in DIsney. The only problem we'd ever encountered was a warning by a security guard at the Florida Mall about the Florida Mall.

If you follow the link in my post, then scroll that page to the point I indicated and click that link, you will get the full story. Simply put, what you were told is not true. It is an urban legend that has been around for decades, and has been applied to shopping malls, beaches, amusement parks, fairs, carnivals, Disneylamd, Wal-Mart, etc. The link I supplied mentions Disney because it is in the Disney section of the Urban Legends website. When you go to the story, the first thing you see is:

"Claim: Children are spirited away from amusement parks and shopping centers by kidnappers who alter the appearance of their victims before smuggling them out the exits.

Status: False. "

I'm sure that no kid's ever been kidnapped from a mall and had their clothes changed before.

My boys are the same way. They have that selective memory and selective listening "syndrome".

Really? I am so gullible...I believed that all these years and have never gone back to the Florida Mall....LOL...maybe we looked like trouble to them and they thought that would make us leave. I swear I am so naive. Now why would the jerk tell me that? Now I am flustered. Then again, I've always kept my kids in sight of me even now and they are going on 12 & 13. Poor kids, I've probably subconsciencly smothered them ever since.
