I like liverwurst just a few times a year, and I also put cheese with it (usually Swiss). It's been hard to find liverwurst, due to the recall and discontinuation of it, from Boar's Head some months ago. What brand do you buy?
Maybe try an Asian grocery stores if near you . Mine stocks liverwurst from Asia and South America. It’s not the kind of brands you find at your neighborhood grocery stores. When I do long distance driving it’s handy to eat one on wonder bread. It’s cheap and saves valuable time instead of stopping at a dining place for lunch . Once I get to my destination or hotel for the night then I enjoy a sit down meal at a restaurant.

I like liverwurst, as well, but haven’t had any in quite some time.
Years ago, for lunch, I used to go to the grocery store deli, at least once a week, down the street from work to get a braunschweiger sandwich, on a Kaiser roll with butter and onions…sooo good, but sooo not very good for you…!!!!! :hungry: :hilarious:

Do I spy bacon or pork mixed in with those baked beans? :hungry:

Also, the smoked brisket looks divine! :hungry:

They actually put brisket in their beans…you can make a whole meal, and then some, out of a large container…!!!!! :hungry:
Also, their beans are savory, not sweet, like baked beans…!!! :)
And yes, their brisket is pretty amazing…and they offer it in lean or moist…!!!!! :hungry:
