Made an Asian seasoned grilled chicken to go with fried rice and Lumpia.

Lumpia is like donuts. So delish you just can’t have one. I tried Turon. It’s dessert Lumpia - inside is fried banana with sugary spices.

In this house Lumpia is everything. I grew up with my mother and her family making them for just about everything but celebrations especially.

In this house Lumpia is everything. I grew up with my mother and her family making them for just about everything but celebrations especially.

I prefer Lumpia to the mass produced Chinese egg roll. Lumpia fried Is what I've eaten but also I've eaten Lumpur that's cold. The big fat wrapped is like cold or room.temp and the inside is more with veggies and some strips of protein. The dipping sauce for the Lumpia is what I liked. We've also had with Lumpia various forms of pancit which we like since its many kinds of Filipino lo mein.

The Monterey Chicken…a chicken b reast with bbq sauce, under plenty of melted cheese, with bacon, diced tomatoes, diced chives, bacon and cheese mashed potatoes and steamed broccoli…!!!!!

Well this recipe was pretty easy. My secret is organization, I take inventory of my pantry, fridge and freezer so I can meal plan a week ahead. Definitely helps with busy days and especially now with the receipts at the grocery store.
