OK, so I don’t remember exact descriptions of all below ;), but…
Carnival cruise escargot app, a breaded chicken cutlet with green beans, steak (strip steak…?) with mashed potatoes and green beans, pasta in, what I think was, a sun dried tomato sauce with fish, mussels, bay scallops and calamari, and a slice of cheesecake with strawberry sauce…and yes, this little piggy (at least that night 😁) ate it all…!!!!!!! :joyfull::hungry::hilarious:

Mmmm…that’s how escargot should be served, “en brioche”. That’s how I first had them at the Epcot F&W Festival probably 20 years ago. I’m always disappointed when I get them on DCL, because it’s just naked escargot.

I’d say they’re like a heavier, chewier, earthier calamari.

But garlic delivery system seems accurate too. 😂

That looks delish, and you get extra points for the attractive table setting! :joyfull:
Thanks, Minnie! I'm a sucker for a theme, and a seasonal table setting. 😂

Pretty sure that my affinity for theming is what drove my many, many, many (many) visits to WDW. And that our several visits to WDW around the holidays are the reason why we have seven Christmas trees. :angelic:

Yep, that pretty much sums it up, but I’ll have them every time they’re offered…!!!!! :hungry: :hilarious:

Never had escargot, but my father loved them.

When I was a teenager, he, my mother and I, went up to Quebec City for a few days. Every night, he'd order escargot for dinner, and each night he'd pick a different way the (various) restaurants would prepare them. I remember they were always served in the shell, and there was a tool on the table, that would be used to pull them out of the shell. (Although as a teen, I was gagging, watching the whole process -- but he was ecstatic with his meals!) :hilarious:
