We first went to Pancake Factory but they were closed. Across the street was a nice Italian Restaurant but they were closed also. It's tough having your birthday fall on a Monday
Mondays are hit and miss. It is generally the slowest day in the business and a number of places are closed. I've noticed that Asian restaurants when I have traveled and where I am based generally open 7 days as week even on the major holidays.We first went to Pancake Factory but they were closed. That looks delish!!!
What caught my attention was the side of corn -- great idea. Down through the years, it's always been squash in my neck of the woods. But, corn also goes nicely with all the other traditional fare.

Thanks!! We usually do squash as well but I also made candied sweet potatoes and broccoli casserole this year so decided to skip the squash and add the corn. I needed one item that didnt contain a stick of butterThat looks delish!!!
