WOW I had meant to purchase Haunted Mansion Disney Theme Park Game of LIFE and Monopoly Theme Park versions last week thru online Disney and POOF the LIFE game was sold out....Thank goodness I got a helpful CM who was able to pull the game from a store for me but LOL they did not have the monopoly game so I had to order that seperate from the Disneystore online....very nice to be able to work thru the phone service for park merchandise. I have had such great experiences having them help me find things even when I do not have the item number. Is even easier when one writes down something they are pondering while at the park for later purchase....like snowglobe things you cannot fly with. We have had so much fun with the HM Clue and Splash Mountain SORRY....looking forward to much game time Christmas week....:xmas:. Darn none of those discount offers apply to park merchandise though....:lookaroun

I just bought the Disney Villians Monopoly at a seasonal calendar store in my outlet mall. DD20 loves the Villians. And I just love my Muppet Uno cards.

I have a really good friend who is just as Mickey crazy as I am. For the last 20 years or so it's been a tradition for me to buy her some sort of Disney-themed game for Christmas, Monopoly, Uno, etc. She still has them all, still wrapped up in the origianl cellophane packaging.

No problem...I am so excited to play mine...but act fast because the park merchandise by phone lady said they were all out of them....DisneyStore online has seperate stock...but they ran out of HM Life a few days back so don't take any chances....:king: I looked at version I of monopoly online and think this second version is better looking....The park versions of games are "plussed" with nicer tokens and things....and I just love when games come in metal tins....:sohappy:

When my kids were small they had a play set of the Magic Kingdom that we got from Toys R Us. It had the Main Street and little rides from the different sections of the park. Had the little characters and they spent hours playing with it. I hope its still in the attic. One day I'll get up there and look.

I love most of the "theme-park edition" board games. (The Monopoly ones don't really interest me.) I particularly appreciate the ones that came in tins -- Haunted Mansion Clue, Tower of Terror Clue, Splash Mountain Sorry, and Pirates of the Caribbean Life. Haunted Mansion Life is pretty cool (and has a nice lenticular on the cover), but I think I would have liked it more if it came in a tin -- the tins just seem a bit classier, and are easy to stack.

Right after ToT Clue was released, I started hoping for an Adventurers Club-themed Clue, but I guess the chance we'll ever see one of those is slim to none.

Also on my wish list is a Life board game themed after the original Journey Into Imagination...

Tins rule...I agree and hold up much better with children than cardboard boxes...LIFE board folded thus would perhaps not do well....ok big tin...:animwink:.

I would love a BTM themed game....trying to figure out which game would best be suited...:)

Honestly I wish the Monopoly was totally Magic Kingdom based but will enjoy it just the same...the dice are just so cute.... :lookaroun Of course that is so they can sell it in multiple parks....
