Theme for 5th Theme Park????

I always wondered how a Disney's America would go over. There is so much in this country that most never get to see. Imagine a Washinton D.C. area that has replicas of the main sites. Riding through a virtual tour of the White House(all levels), seeing the Liberty Bell, Washington Monument. Then there is NY city, Mount Rushmore, Golden Gate bridge. The possibilities are endless!

I'm not much of a fan about this whole America themed park. I love my country, don't get me wrong, but I dunno I dont like that concept.

I hope we see a new Water Park before a Theme Park at WDW. I think that if River Country won't be included as a park, Disney needs another water park. I'd like to see a futuristic water park.

I'm still bent on the idea of a Villian's Theme Park! but I'm just afraid that it would be too much like Universal's Islands of Adventure. As for the Disney's America...I believe the Disney company proposed an actual park, destination Virginia or some place, but it was turned down by the locals because it would bring too much tourism.

I would love to see the new park be centered around a villians theme. I am a huge villians fan!!! There is so many rides that could be incorported in to the theme.

There was a lot of concern about Disney America in Virginia cuz of the nearby civil war battlefields and the detrimental effect it might have on them.
The Villians Park sounds like a great idea but I wonder if it's too limited in scope...might be better as an add-on to one of the other parks...

...I would LOVE to see a replication of an elegant, old fashioned amusement park like Palisades Park or Coney Island, but with all the high tech bells and whistles and modern thrill rides...bring back the wooden coasters, the Giant ferris wheel and the tunnel of love.....ooolala. That amusement park would look fabulous at night ...
This would quiet the incessant whining from some people about the need for more carnival rides in the theme parks and would be a huge attraction and money maker. And, it would give kids an opportunity to experience something they would otherwise never know. The possibilities are endless.

that's just my opinion and ya know what it's worth...

Villains all the way!

I want to see a Villain park. I love the Disney "bad guys". I would love to see a giant Ursula or something the size of Spaceship Earth or Tree of Life. I think it would be an awsome park. I would move to Florida just for that park! :sohappy:

Yeah, too much tourism, too much money and too many jobs.

All I can say is MORONS!!!

I think I'm sticking with my first guess of Disney Villans. I think it has the most play for now. I want it to be the park to destroy Universal.

I think the Villains idea for a theming is good, but for one attraction, not a whole park. It would be simply too redundant to see all rides based on Disney Villains.
Disney parks are well known for their versatility inside their parks, that's why it's amazing to think Tomorrowland is a walk away from Frontierland. But think a minute about a park full of villains...How many attractive, ingenious and distinct lands can you create? Also little children are afraid of villains, and many will not want to ride many of the attractions, and Disney has the FAMILY idea inserted in each part...sooo....I don't think so.
