That darker blue on the Fantasyland building is the color they should have painted the castle roofs. So much classier.

I think that’s the shade of blue seen in the original concept art too. Shoot, even that shade of pink is better than what’s on the castle. Sigh...

Maybe we will see something similar for WDW? One things for sure No gatherings allowed for HEA by October= No “normal” Oct 1st 50th opening ceremony.
Edit: Then again, unlike the 40th, I do not think the 25th Anniversary dedication ceremony included regular guests either.

It was the same with the millennium celebration and 100 years of magic opening events. Closed park. ViPs, etc. Disney know they don't need to run anything special to sell pins and limited edition merch to people that will go and sell it for 3 times the price the same afternoon.
Can we at least get a return date by Oct 1 if nothing happens on Oct 1 besides Rat????
Funny that the Media Party was at Epcot with an NYE style IllumiNations 25 while MK did nothing special pyro wise. Just a regular FITS with the 25th finale on Oct 1, No Perim. or anyhting like that.
Epcot was premiering a new show.

Well I meant Epcot debuting a new show again like they did for the 25th. After looking it up Illuminations 25 debuted Sept 21st. Not Oct 1st. We’ll see if history repeats itself timing wise lol.
They did. Hence the premiering. Not premiere. A new show for the 25th anniversary was bound to take precedence.
There again premiering Humongous on the 50th anniversary would be an insult to anyone with standards. Let alone as a celebration of a half century.
Whiz bangs could return in some shape or form before October anyway.

I’m hearing mutterings but trying to tie it together. As I think they are.
If Good things are planned of Oct it should get interesting! Wishes added Perim. for the 40th Day, but not the 45th. Most likely if TDO does it right/COVID allows: The HEA 50th Tag should be just fine! With or without Perim. I don't see a Media party with a NYE Harm. for MK's 50th. But, Epcot did do that for MK's 25th so who knows??????? Let's not forget that was IllumiNations 25A, which only lasted till May 1997(I think?).....Could MK/Epcot be in the same boat again 25 years later????
