I’ve been saying it but I believe the parks will all shut down in the very near future. No money, all decreasing profits…it’s close to overThat's exactly how the $60 billion thread is going.

Is this a larger doomsday prophecy, or do you think the rest of the world will make it but Disney parks will shut down?I’ve been saying it but I believe the parks will all shut down in the very near future. No money, all decreasing profits…it’s close to over
I agree with Oswald here. Just leave em there. If anything they pretty-up the place moreThere was absolutely no reason to remove (most of) these statues after the 50th, so I’m glad they are staying. There is also no reason to announce that they are removing the 50th plaques on them, lol.
All that glitters is not goldGlitter makes everything prettier.
I think they are the names of the next two cruise ships. With wha where? Are those the names of the horses drawing Cinderella's carriage?

Nah, I'm sure they can sell all the gold they removed.$1 billion down, 59 to go.
There's also still 50th anniversary plates and cups being used at some QSR locations. Not to mention the nearly 20/80 split of CMs wearing the 50th nametag vs the new design. While they're at it, someone should go and make sure all the buses go back to their original destination signs. I still occasionally spot a "celebrating 50 years of..." thing.
I can certainly understand using 50th anniversary plates and cups. Might as well use up what you have rather than throw them out. Nametags are another matter. Maybe a gradual roll out? There's also still 50th anniversary plates and cups being used at some QSR locations. Not to mention the nearly 20/80 split of CMs wearing the 50th nametag vs the new design.
And then there's this from a recent visit:

That's not a Disney IP.All that glitters is not gold
Every CM should have gotten a new nametag, especially by now. It was a bit of a flawed rollout in that they mailed them to people's homes, and so some never received them due to mailing issues/old addresses on file. Additionally, some didn't have their hometown in the new system of record, so they got their home address' city as their hometown on their nametag, and some didn't like that.I can certainly understand using 50th anniversary plates and cups. Wonder if there are any 50th lids and straws left?I can certainly understand using 50th anniversary plates and cups. Might as well use up what you have rather than throw them out. Nametags are another matter. Maybe a gradual roll out?
Or sell them on E BayHow sad is it that due to the current ineptitude of wdw management, I've been worried that they would just remove the statues entirely...
You’re welcome.Obviously to take down the 50th branding. I'm very interested in how they'll "refresh" Abu, then:
