No, that was never the plan. MagicBands are cheap to produce and they sell.
Adding MagicMobile was a guest satisfaction play, because some people don't like the bands, particularly those that wear a smart watch.

That's why I'm going in January. I want to see all the cool night stuff but I also need to be in bed by 9, so I travel when it's dark at 4.That's nice.

Are the Cinderella Castle and Tree of Light Beacons of Magic being held at park's closure, unlike Spaceship Earth which can be seen publicly for the first time at EPCOT?

The Frontierland Shootin’ Arcade has reopened for the 50th and IS FREE! These are the types of gifts D’Amaro can give us. He is a good guy but can’t control the bigger projects.
I think they all start at sunset?

Did Bob Iger really have this much control over the bigger projects? Is it just because Chapek is former head of parks that he somewhat continues in that role?

He cares deeply about the parks. It’s just that what he cares deeply about doing with them is…controversial.
But, he is willing to spend a fortune on them and understands that they are extremely important to the brand. He just thinks Harmonious is what is needed.

I wonder if this will get lower guest satisfaction than Epcot forever? And if that will convince him that's something he needs to be different. I don't think I can get rid of night time spectaculars at Epcot because of the food vendors, and they know that they can get good revenue from the cruises and such. Maybe they'll realize it's just not a great show and come up with something new in the not so distant future, or at least a significant retooling.
