The wierdest things that will give you the disney feel

There is a local mall where there is a glass roof and a lot of trees, and for some reason I am always reminded of the Orlando airport.

Also, every time I eat at a Red Robin, I feel like I'm on vacation, and it reminds me of being in or near a Disney park!

And I agree about O'hare airport in chicago. The United terminal has the neon light show that reminds me wistfully of the olf Imagination and the rainbow tunnel. Of course if I am in that airport is usually means that I am on my way to Disney anyway!

OK, this is really wierd.

There is an underground passageway between terminals at O'Hare Airport that has lots of neon lighting and futuristic music playing, etc. Everytime I fly through O'Hare and use this I think of EPCOT.

YES!! I know of it!! I live 2 mins from it!! I LOVE The Neon Tunnels of O'hare!!:D:sohappy:

Sometimes the smell at Frontier Land mostly on Splash Mountain, Prates of the Caribbean and Splash Mountain gets to me. It isn't that dewey smell someone else mentioned that hits me to, its that green mold smell that will catch me. I smelled it at the wax Museum and I knew the smell right away.

I am right with you on that one! I have no idea exaclty what the smell is, but it instantly reminds me of the water/boat rides. I think it must be the water since you smell it on all of the rides, even living with the land at Epcot. Also, there is a railroad that runs behind the auto dealer I work at and some of the railroad pickup trucks have air horns. The air horns sound just like the horns on the boats that take you from Fort Wilderness to MK. I hear them almost daily and think of WDW every single time.

I think it's a chemical. I smell it in certain cleaners at school...

What exactly is "The Disney Feel"? That doesn't sound very appropriate...I'm going to ask my wife if she'd like to try that....

The disney feel is that disney of disney trip you get all over again at home like all the smells and the setting is very clear in your head all over again. It could be a song something you never unpacked or something you own that was a part of your disney trip of something you haven't heard since your disney trip. And out of the blue a song comes on or you come across something you haven't seen in a while and it brings back the memories. Walking thru the parks can be funny to like I had a dave Matthew's song stuck in my head all my days in the parks and I was learning it back at the condo on my guitar. I heard that song again the other day and all I could think about was the song stuck in my head at Epcot and sitting in the condo in florida. Read the posts not just the titles LOL. "I'm going to ask my wife if she'd like to try that...." Hilarious, pretty good but that can get you into allot of trouble on this site for that LOL.
