Hi I have just booked at the wave for 7.30pm in October and I have a few questions, if anyone could help that would be great so thank you in advance. Can we park at the resort or do we have to pay? Can we see wishes from the resort and if so is 7.30 early enough? what shall we expect from the wave? And also is it relaxed dress code? Thanks again :sohappy:

from my understanding, if you have a dinner reservation you can park at the resort with no problems. You won't be able to see wishes from the restaurant, but they do have a deck on the 4th floor I believe, where you can see wishes. Granted it won't be as good as from the top of the Contemporary or standing in front of the castle. But you will be able to see them.

Sorry, I can't help with the food, as I will be dining there for the first time this October as well.

Hope this helps

You will definetly not have to pay for parking to eat at the Wave. Also like the last post said you will not be able to see the fireworks from the restaurant but the 4th floor concourse viewing area is pretty nice. It is located at the back of the hotel past all the gift shops. The door to get out is on the left hand side. As for the food, my family and I didn't care for it but we did go when they first opened and perhaps they were still getting the kinks out. Enjoy!!

Thank you both for your help. I can't wait to see wishes we can't go into Disney parks for the first few days as we are going for 19 days and only have 14 days pass. So I will need a bit of Disney magic to get me over the first few days. Thanks again :sohappy:

The food at the wave is fantastic. Of all of the restaurants we've eaten at (including some signatures) we enjoyed the food at the wave the most!

Not old, just vintage.
I absolutely love the wave. Some of the best non signature restaurant foods I've had on property. As others have said, no fireworks because the location is in the middle of the building. For me, seeing Wishes from the Contemporary is highly overrated. I would rather stand on Main St. As for the dress code, ive seen just about everything there. Just look presentable and not like you are cleaning out the garage and you should be ok. If you are going to attempt to see the fireworks from the Contemporary your time should be fine. I've never had it take more than an hour to get in and out of there. Enjoy!
