Off topic, but when will the construction start for this, and when will the official announcement happen? Will it be after Potter is completed, or will they work on them simultaneously?

Speaking of HHN, are there any plans for a permanent Haunted House attraction at some point?

Kidzone is really interesting... If they're removing the water slide, is there a chance there will be a water based attraction to take its place? And man, I hope they consider doing something with Sponge Bob there. Not the Smurfs!

And Gringotts... Is it even fair to call it a simple coaster at this point? Holy jumpin dragons...

No doubt in my mind, USF will be the best park in Orlando in 2015. Amazing what we're seeing here folks. Unprecedented. Thank you Mr. Potter!

It's not just the planned attractions that gets me, it's the speed in which these things happen at UNI. I mean, these cats aren't playing around.

And the cool thing about KONG taking over Disaster! Is that still leaves that big plot of land in Toon Lagoon available for something big. It had been rumored it was the new KONG, but now it will be something else, and the only thing I've read from insiders are that the plans would blow away Avatar. I can't believe there is even MORE to be announced, on top of the Kidzone, FF and Hard Rock expansion pads... I need to take a breath :)

Thanks SO much for the info @HTF!!!!! Gotta say, I don't care for HP at all, but I LOVE what it's done to the park's revenue! Makes for a happy Uni goer on this end :D It's exciting times folks!

the cross-site posting is probably edging on the nerves of the admins. Some of the tattle-tailing and leading to sites is getting a bit out of hand.

KING KONG: HOLY BANANA BREATH BATMAN
GRIGNOTTS: HOLY DRAGON FIRE BREATH BATMAN

Mickey Mouse reads HTF's post and cries... Hear that? That is the sound of money flowing from WDW's coffers to Universal.. CHA-CHING!!!

Apparently you cannot say Mickey Mouse cries over Universal's huge undertaking.. I mean, look what Universal's 1.5 billion is bringing, and what Disney 1.5 billion is bringing.. One is brining new theme park experiences, one is making booking a vacation a stressful chore... :)

I guess so. It's only the truth!

One Little Spark...
A family visiting Universal Studios this summer will return to the resort in two years to a very different park (with four new E Tickets!) That's just insane.

It's enough to make me consider seriously peeling of 3 days from my 10 day WDW stay to see what they have done and what is being done!

I did STRONGLY consider this...dropping my resort from POFQ to Pop or AoA, which would also mean 3 days less of WDW tickets and Deluxe Dining Plan (at ~$130 a day)...and using this savings to pay for a 3 day stay at one of the Universal resorts.

I opted not to...but not because I don't want to see Universal, and am not intrigued...but because out trip is already busy enough with a 1 day stay at CR, then a DCL cruise, and Legoland...

I decided that last week I really want to just chillax.

BUT...were I NOT going with a kid who (and I know my kid) will burn out if I make things too varied / complex, I'd be ALL OVER IT!
