I did. A rollercoaster with 3D glasses does not sound all that appealing to me. Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey was one of the rare attactions in Orlando(Mission Space Orange being the other), that actually made me physically ill. This sounds like it could be the same deal. I guess we will know in 2014.

Obviously you didn't.. It isn't a roller coaster... 7D is a roller coaster, a kiddie one at that... You are more excited about a kiddie coaster than a dark ride hybrid? You are too, I would say funny but that give you too much credit.. Sad is what I would probably say...

If that was to happen, they would need to do something about all those ugly @$$ Soundstages...

One soundstage down already... But yea, They will have to come up with something to hide them... The facades would have to be huge... Leaving them wouldn't be all bad though, right? as long as what is inside of them knocks it out of the park... They can theme the sound stages to look a bit more appealing..

I'm interested to know this as well... I keep reading about a rebranding of the Studios park... maybe the Studios part is going the way of the dodo... Extinct?

They could possibly get rid of the "Universal Studios Florida" name for the theme park (it doesn't really fit anymore), as long as they keep the "Universal Orlando Resort" for the resort as a whole.

I don't really know what they could call it though. "Universal's Locations of Experience"? ;)

Universal Orlando Theme Park at Universal Orlando Resort, Orlando Florida Presented by Comcast.. Nah, this isn't Disney.. Universal will keep the name simple LOL...

In Entertainment weekly, they just had an article of the top 100 everything's of all time. For books, the series as a whole finished seventh all time, ahead of books like Charlottes Web and to kill a mockingbird, which we all had/have to read in school. It also said that it would be read for hundreds of years still, so it is dead, right guys?

You really should and every ride has its flaws so no worry. I personally wish one of the earlier versions of the FJ ride made it as our current one misses a few grand opportunities. One version which happened to be the second revision of the attraction was a much more physical attraction but in the end it came down to money. The level of detail in Hogsmeade was deemed more important than bigger physical sets and AA's in the FJ. Under old owners they had a budget, which they still blew (thank you Hogwarts rock work) but now with Comcast at the helm you will see a much grander experience in Gringotts. In the end they obviously made the right decision by placing a massive budget in Hogsmeade.
Do you think we'll ever see a big refurbishment that changes Forbidden Journey a bit?

Come back to 2013.... Potter is just as big and popular today... Where if your proof that the levels are down? Don't have any? Thought so... Seek help. Seek professional help now... Pixie Dust Disease can be cured...

Potter is no where at the levels of hysteria as it once was. Books are done, movies are done, excitement leveled off. Star Wars on the other hand is just getting started. :)

Well fortunately they built a knock out ride and land that transcends the films/books ... I am no Potter fan at all but I spend a TON of time in that land and if Diagon Alley is anything close, forget it ... I'm there for the long haul.

You sure about that? Are you JK? Do you know the books are done? No... Star Wars, well, Disney will be making them so I will suspect Star Wars will be dead in 5 years... They will kill it.

Hi, I'm a Universal fanboy, and this post reeks of Universal Fanboyism to me.

I doubt Disney will kill star wars, at least not in 5 years. JJ Abrams is a good director, and I don't think they're going to spare any expense on the movies.

Remember, their movie division is not TDO, so it's very possible that the movie will be good.

I'm not holding my breath, however.

I'm a huge Star Wars fan... I'm hoping for the best... But there is a such thing as over kill... And the schedule and amount of movies they want to produce for Star Wars sounds like over kill.. There is a such thing as ruining a good thing...

I don't think JJ is the second coming but he's light years better than the prequels.

Disney can't possibly kill the franchise anymore than Lucas did ...

JJ is good, and I am a fan, and I am glad he is on board... But, I am not ready to automatically say the next three will right away be better than the last three, which, I don't think were as bad as people make them sound...

Star Wars is going to be huge for Disney well into the next decade. Not even a discussion.

Until they force it down everyone's throats and people get sick of it... Has happened before... And with Disney being terrible at marketing anything but princesses, well.... Don't count those dollar signs just yet... Sure Episode 7 will be fine, but what happens with Star Wars hang over? What happens when it is forces with 2 or three movies a year??? Yea, a tired public... So, yes, there is a discussion to be had...

If Zack Snyder is still rumored to be doing a stand alone ... well that could kill it.
