The Town Center construction

The north-south bus drop off required the access to the loops to be two-way traffic that buses had to cross in order to leave. The East-West arrangement allows for one-way traffic and no crossing of traffic.
The loop access road is still two way, the buses leaving the north loop will still cross the path of the buses incoming to the south loop.

There is access to Buena Vista Drive just south of the south loop where buses will be able to turn right into the new dedicated bus lane.

Not sure what you think you see, its hard to tell on that pic, but i highly doubt they'd have an exit of any sort right there as the intersection just to the east feeds directly into the new bus lanes, not out into main lbv drive traffic, in order to get into the bus lanes from where your seeing an exit the buses would have to cut all the way left across traffic and then do a weird jog into the bus lanes

Photo update as of Tuesday, Dec. 22. In the below photo, you are not looking at "white water," just plastic covering the bottom of the "springs" river after additional painting. Note the wooden bridge in the background now has light fixtures on the poles....see close up in the next photo.

The new light fixtures on the wooden bridge across Disney Springs.

A view of the Coca-Cola building next to the Orange parking garage. Note this side of the building is taller than the left side of the building facing Disney Springs. Disney bus transportation terminals are on the right.

IMG_7043.JPG

A view of the same building from Planet Hollywood. The "roof" of the building appears just above the white colored girders along the top, with an additional story along the back of this roof, with several openings visible. Perhaps this building will have a roof-top viewing area? A brick façade is being applied to this building.

The buildings behind the T-Rex Café and the Lego Store are getting exterior treatments. See close ups in photos below. The top deck of the Lime parking garage is seen on the left.

IMG_7055.JPG

A full view of the building facing the "park area" between T-Rex and Lego store.

IMG_7056.JPG

The below photo is a close up of the left corner of the above building. The entire building is getting a shingle exterior, in the manner of many existing buildings in the Marketplace. See installed shingles on the left behind the workman in orange.

IMG_7057.JPG

This is the side of the building facing the Lego store, with shingles already installed on the ground and second floors.

IMG_7058.JPG

Finally, a view between the Lego store (on the right) and World of Disney (on the left). These new buildings already have wooden shingles installed. The new building on the right appears to have horizontal wooden slats, vice shingles. The "character" of the new Disney Springs is beginning to show.

Great photo update! I like the appearance of more trees in the new areas. And some of the shingle facades look really nice too.

Photo update as of Sunday, Jan 10. The new Disney Springs water feature has been filled with water. Views from Morimoto's Asia second floor dining area.

IMG_7180.JPG

Two new piers extending over the water have been completed over the new Disney Springs water feature (see left and right in the below photo).

IMG_7165.JPG

The faux rock shorelines of this new water feature are raised up to prevent runoff into the new "lake." Essentially, this "lake" is a large pool of filtered water to allow a clear view of the bottom and "springs" (bubbling) features. In the below photo, a new building is under construction on the left, along the shoreline.

IMG_7164.JPG

In many of these photos, you will see a small brown object in the water. These are foam rubber insulation protecting water pipes that are just below the surface of the water, alerting construction personnel from running into them when boating on the lake. Given the number of these pipes in the lake, I assume they are for "bubbling" water features in Disney Springs.

I was just gonna post a question if there were any updates on the springs construction with the water in it...and look and behold!
Looks great, thanks for the pictures!
