Top Five things and why
5. First project I created both the theater and the show. I struggled a lot with this prompt as someone who is only really familiar with WDW,but I felt good contributing something major
4 Candy and record store in the Dubi nyc stanza . I enjoy creating shops and I was super proud of these
3For the epcot project I came up with some ideas ( I suggested them and someone else brought them into the pavilion) that ended up in the final project including the hot rocks pizza, the panning for gems. And the meet and greet with Rocky which I created!
2 Scott Pilgrim musical. I was pm here ( Thank you judges) and I felt i did a good job making sure our project had all the stuff needed for a musical. and came up with the inside of the theater and the merch stands. It was a much needed boost to work on a concept I was semi familiar with after Flailing in the dubai rounds.
1 The casino subland in the last stanza. I wanted to go out with a bang, and I created 5 things plus some extras. I really enjoyed this prompt.

Struggle.
I struggled throughout this comp. Right before it started, I got kicked out of my home, then, while searching for a place and moving from airbnb to airbnb I started school. I also ended up in the hospital with gastric issues, the day I moved into my new place. I wasn't as active as I thought I'd be and also struggled with connecting to certain prompts. I tried to contribute at least a little to every project.

3. I have my final month and a bit of classes happening, but I have no finals and I can easily work on the comp alongside my school work. No work!

"Neither do I," says @ThemeParkPriest. The other players look at him strangely, as he just refused a glass and instead brought out his water container to drink water from. "It's Holy Week." he simply explains and shrugs.
Spot on! As the saying goes, “Fast when the Church says fast; feast when she says feast.” And tomorrow is the greatest feast of the year! I’m not saying what will be in my flask, but it won’t be Budweiser Zero!

I would love to participate in the playoffs (or at least put forth my bid), but I just have way too much on my plate at the current moment!

That being said, the few Stanzas I did participate in were very fun!

Here are a few of the contributions I enjoyed creating!

Here's the map of Team Power's World of Narnia. Even though it wasn't well-received well by the judges, I still think Team Time produced an exemplary result, bar the rides within the World of Narnia.

And while I'm proud of my WoN map, @montydysquith-navarro did an exceptional job matching my style for the Nightmare Before Christmas section of the expansion and merging the maps together into one big image.

I also made several trashcans throughout the competition, here are a couple of good examples of the ones I created for the early stanzas.

1. What did you feel were your Top 5 contributions to the game and why?
(1) Jungle of Pixels - I was unsure initially how much I'd contribute that round. While I love video games, the ones I play/know weren't going to translate to a park, but I ended up doing quite a bit more than I was expecting. From the DK Barrel Coaster, to a Yoshi coaster and restaurant, coming up with the Phone app website and putting together a land trailer/E3 video and merging that with work from others, I was pretty happy with all of it. Top to bottom, I think team wise this was maybe the most satisfying project of the season for me. Felt like we had so many really well done parts and it all just worked.

(2) Willy Wonka show building - spent a good bit of time building this out and trying to incorporate various looks from the Wonka movie and really liked how it turned out and felt visually a great representation of the attraction. While I did not do the great write up for the ride, was happy my suspended dark ride idea worked out as well as it did.

(3) Trial of Terror - This round was great because it allowed me to do a number of non typical armchair Imagineer things. Had a blast putting together the set design, creating blue prints, writing music lyrics and building out the playbill which I thought I turned out well. I started the Van Helsing train of thought that teammates took and ran with in a unique direction and loved what we did with it all in the end. One of the more unique projects I've been a part of in a good while around here.

(4) Variety of work - no one thing in particular here, but something I wanted to do this season was to dive into as many different project parts as possible. I think I succeeded in doing every ride type from E ticket to A, multiple QS and TS restaurants, shops, maps, video, sets, magazine, website, song lyrics, hand drawn art (lands, scenes, vehicles) and digital artwork, logos, etc. Even designed a fake k'nex toy box of all things. I think the only thing I literally have not done this season is put together a hotel which is surprising considering how many Team Soul did early on (lol).

(5) Electric Rose Cafe - When I initially threw out the random idea for this restaurant in stanza 1, I don't think I fully knew what to do with it when I actually started working on it. Coming up with the backstory to fit our expansions them and all the ins and outs was different from some of the previous restaurants I'd put together. The end result was pretty satisfying and @Lora Baines Bradley menu was a perfect pairing with it.

2. Which project did you struggle with the most and what (if anything) did you learn from it?

Dubai - While I didn't participate those rounds, I was hosting with the Hulkster. Initially had a hard time that we were getting some duplication from multiple areas. We thought, and still think, there was so much untapped potential for projects there and personally it stung. In the end though I learned to appreciate you can't always predict what will happen and bottom line, there was a ton of great work in each of the 3 stanzas from all teams, which is all that really matters. Plus, I absolutely always love partnering up with Doug, and was really happy with the overall presentation we put together. (not just sucking up here I promise as I've already told him this)

3. If you were to advance, do you anticipate any exams/trips/work in your way that would take precedence over the game?

Unless something comes up unexpectedly trip wise (it would only be a couple of days) I'm completely free the next few weeks

I’ll share my list with y’all later tonight, as I’m currently busy with something atm. Also, in terms of finals, I just don’t think it would be realistic to continue on efficiently, since I will be bombarded with Schoolwork and finals in May. I loved participating in the competition though, and this was a fantastic experience getting to know and work with everyone on every Stanza!

That's totally fine, Homemade! Like Splash I'm so glad you had a great time and got to know everyone around here - focus on school that's more important and there will always be stuff going on around here to do!

1. What did you feel were your Top 5 contributions to this game and why?
In no particular order...
- Ice Mountain Rapids. It was fun to do a Splash Mountain-esque ride because I love that ride, and I love animals too. I got to come up with some funny gags for it.
- Celestial Carousel. Carousels are easy to do, and I think the Chinese zodiac theme to it was a nice twist.
- Jack's Christmas Sleigh Run. With Halloween Town, it was hard for us to avoid simply repeating the stuff we did for the Nightmare Before Christmas section of the Blue Sky park. But I feel a Seven Dwarfs Mine Train-style dark ride/coaster hybrid of sorts based on the film turned out pretty well. I like the mental picture of the sleighs chugging up a lift hill as the Halloween Town residents build toys and sing "Making Christmas".
- Forecast Follies. Both versions. It gave me the opportunity to mock post-Disneyland Paris Eisner's Disney, which considering how we're basically getting a repeat of that with post-Frozen Iger's Disney made for some catharsis for me.
- The Futurama stuff for 20th Century Studios Dubai. Because I love Futurama and it was fun crafting a menu for each of the dining locations full of references to the show.

2. Which project did you struggle the most with and what (if anything) did you learn from it?
Probably the Future City. I'm not a big gamer and I know nothing about stuff like Mega-Man. What did I learn from it? Nothing.

3. If you were to advance, do you anticipate any exams/trips/work in your way that would take precedence over the game?
I doubt it.

*thinks back to what I did this round struggling to remember what I actually did*
5] The DC Minigolf project I did, I love minigolf and it was such a sun project.
4] Relearning circular galifrayen also for the dr. who round.
3] "the Cure" Stand in this last round. I liked that I made it into its own little story
2] Tumblr Blog for Dr Who round. That was so much fun to do and such a neat way to present things.
1] The Magnus Archives recording for the spooky lego farrm. It was a great way to add in my current hyperfixation into the game.

2. Which project did you struggle with the most and what (if anything) did you learn from it?

I feel like I struggled with a lot of rounds so I am not sure how to answer this. I will say I learned that I have a hard time with Parks I am not familiar with because researching feels like a chore to me so I just tune out. Knowing that I have made an effort to be more engaged when I know I am losing interest.

3. If you were to advance, do you anticipate any exams/trips/work in your way that would take precedence over the game?

Well I do want to advance I also know these past couple of rounds I have been very tuned out and disinterested. I don't have anything actually taking up my time but creatively I have just been struggling as of late. This last round I felt like I got a bit of that spark back and so I THINK I am ready to keep going but I also don't want to take a spot from someone more active and passionate. Whichever way this ends for me it has been a blast.

alright, alright, i'm here

1. What did you feel were your Top 5 contributions to the game and why?
i took the responsibility of writing some of the major restaurants and shops in almost every round. cooking and graphic design are big passions of mine, so i had a blast putting together big, over the top, unrealistic eateries and quirky novelty shops. it involved a lot of research and a lot of learning on a wide variety of cultural traditions and cuisines. i'd say my best work this game was Catbus Cafe, Shibuya Gear, Metroid: Darkest Night, La Regina del Adriàtica, and Moose Hill Cabin.

A sampling of my menus. Learning the best way to format and design these has been an engaging and fun challenge throughout the game.

2. Which project did you struggle with the most and what (if anything) did you learn from it?
the disneyquest revamp i lead was a disaster and the responsibility for that falls entirely on me. i took a relaxed, laid-back approach to leadership which, in my opinion, usually works, but wasn't the right fit for such a short round and such an ambitious project. it was just a matter of not being so stubborn and considering multiple approaches, plain and simple. i shouldn't be surprised when a square peg doesn't fit in a round hole.

3. If you were to advance, do you anticipate any exams/trips/work in your way that would take precedence over the game?
the playoffs coincide with my spring break (yay!) and though i will have two exams during these last few rounds, i can't envision them interfering with my performance.
