We call them roundabouts...

Wouldn't a roundabout involve multiple lanes of traffic? (ie a 4 way intersection)

before they allowed parking back there it was a turn around area for busses...

That's what it is. Although the supports for the track on TT kind of bumped into that spot now.

You can have 2,3,6 way traffic - or just use one to turn traffic orderly at a cul-de-sac (dead end to you guys)

I think it used to be a roundabout but it's now more parking...I used to walk back there all the time when I was a contractor and parked back there

We call them roundabouts...

Here in the northeast, they're called rotaries...

And as for this, I'd call it a "vehicle turnaround", or a "turning loop". As Yoda said an actual rotary would require some kind of an intersection with merging/yielding traffic, rather than just a means to turn a bus around.
