Trip Report The Summer Adventure Continues....Our Live Disneyland Report Begins!

The morning we leave for Disneyland has come. We have spent the last six days in Arizona visiting my brother-in-law and doing some site-seeing. We spent some time in Phoenix where we visited our first water park,

I have to admit, 75-78 feels hot the last two days!

I saw this earlier and thought about how we apparently had a high of 104 today + a considerable amount of humidity (down to 84 degrees with 77% humidity at almost 9pm). Yeah...your weather is sounding like fall ;) So, just tack that on to the many reasons for jealousy!!! :D Sounds like you guys are having a great time...and what awesome luck too! If only there was some way to bottle that!

After a few days, I believe I still like WDW more then DL. However, there are many attractions I prefer here in DL over their WDW comparisons (POTC, Pooh, Space Mtn just to name a few). And I love the dark rides that aren't in WDW (Pinocchio, Snow White, Mr Toads, Alice in Wonderland, and both in storybook land). I also love how Its a Small World begins outside. So much is similar, but they both really are unique places.

Planning on sleeping in tomorrow before a late breakfast with characters at Storytime in the Grand California Hotel. Our first time eating there, and Blue Bayou in POTC tomorrow for dinner!!! We had lunch at BB last summer. Another big day ahead of us.

I love 'em both, of course, for different reasons! DL was the first Park I visited as a child, and WDW was the first Resort we visited with our children. But, if I had to make a choice (and I'd sure hate to hafta'! ) ...WDW! :)

I saw that post earlier too, but wasn't able to respond...
OH MY!!! Fall is right...!!! Good grief!!! It's 30 degrees hotter here...!!! 105 here yesterday, 106 today, and is supposed to be 104 tomorrow...!
To give that a little better perspective...
It was still 101 at 8p, and right now it's 97...!!!!!
But, then again, the tables will be turned come winter when y'all up north-ish are talkin' about 0 degrees and such...
What a country...!!! :)

True...although I do miss snow. Not the shoveling or driving in the stuff...just the snow. Actually, right now I'd be happy with rain.

The plan was to sleep in today, but we were all up before 8:30. Breakfast at 10:30 at Storytellers at the Grand California Hotel. Planning on going into California Adventure after that, then Disneyland this evening. We have dinner at Blue Bayou. If you haven't been to Disneyland, Blue Bayou overlooks the Pirates of the Caribbean just like San Angel Inn in Epcot.

Brayden was pretty excited with his surprise for Tinkerbell this morning!!!!!:p

Those "sleep in" plans, somehow ;), always seem to get blown off by us on a Disney trip, too...! :D
