Trip Report The Summer Adventure Continues....Our Live Disneyland Report Begins!

The morning we leave for Disneyland has come. We have spent the last six days in Arizona visiting my brother-in-law and doing some site-seeing. We spent some time in Phoenix where we visited our first water park,

They had two kids about 5 years old that were literally running across a long booth seat (much longer than a normal booth. it extended along the entire wall). Between the races they were running and the constant grabbing at and the shoving things in the faces of the characters, it was awful.
Awful.id die of embarassment if my kids Ever acted like that ...especially in public at everyones else's expense.

Yep, that's one of the things I LOVE so much about this country! :)
The closest I'd ever been east was when we lived in Huntsville, Al. for 18 months from 66 'til we moved to SJ, Cali. Dad was at the Redstone Arsenal-Marshall Space Flight Center.
The first time I ever went east was in 81' when a buddy from HS down here that was originally from the east moved back east after our sophomore year and came back down here to go to The University of Texas after HS.
He and a bunch of his buddies had a house on the Jersey shore for 2 weeks. And, believe it or not, it was at Seaside Heights, of all places...! The shore wasn't all that different than the craziness I had experienced anywhere on the Texas coast, actually, but Philly and NYC were like I was in a different country...! I lOVE this crazy country...!!!!! :)
I am in Huntsville, AL and you would not believe the difference here. We moved here in '82 with Boeing for my Dad's work. 31 years later and it is still home and amazing place to live.

Did you make reservations for all your meals?
I only have done WOC and was planning on doing Fantasmic Desert priority seating at 30 days.
I feel like I should plan more?
We did ADRs for all of them.

we did the fantastic dessert party last year. Not worth the money. View was good though. and I think the DL fantasmic is better then WDW for what it's worth
