At least Gaston's is an established place in the world of Beauty and the Beast. That and "tavern fare" isn't too hard to understand.

Where to I get my food in Pandora? An army bunker cafeteria? Can humans even eat the stuff that grows there? Where do I buy merchandise?

Actually, my assumption always has been the restaurant would be in the compound mess hall in the movie. Easy to do cafeteria quick service and fit in with the theme, and I think the concept artwork shows some of the compound buildings in different stages of being retaken by the jungle. I would assume, then, the merch would be in the compound's supply depot (similar to the TF ride's store).

I would assume the same, but there's something odd and tacky about a temporary looking army compound selling Mickey plush.

Finally able to get caught up while waiting for my oil change. I typically don't post much but enjoy these topics as I'm one of those that pops in for a few hours quite frequently throughout the year while on business. This past week I had the opportunity to experience a completely empty Animal Kingdom which was open until 8pm. I believe the hours were unusual for this time of year and I certainly took advantage. The lighting, mood and ambience can't be beat. I wasn't there for rides but rather enjoying the exhibits and perhaps enjoying a safari amber while taking in the ambience. It was awesome. You felt removed from civilization. I took a co-worker along for a trip to Epcot on Monday last week as we had the entire day to burn before being back at work all day Tuesday. He had to pay 90 bucks to get in while I have my AP. His opinion was that it was worth every penny. Had we gone to MK or HS I suspect his reaction would have been rather different :).

Anyway, as always thanks for the great threads 74' . Oh, and IMO, I think the only QS meal worth buying at electric umbrella is the meatball sandwich. It's really not bad!

I agree with the tavern as an entity--I might have gone for a bit more "cartoony" execution--but I was specifically talking about the menu. How does hummus and apple slushees with passion fruit foam fit the world of B&B? It's forced and illogical, just like The Tree of Burgers would feel in Pandora.

There will be a MRE vending machine carefully themed to look like a freshly opened box of MRE's unfortunately it will only dispense the 'Ham Omelet' MRE - As disney was able to get millions of them CHEAP, Service people will understand WHY...

That was just laziness on Disney's part. Copying and repackaging a Cars Land drink for a BtaB restaurant. Hummus isn't any better.

It makes no sense at all but is wonderfully PC

My insiders have hinted at a few things for Toon Lagoon. I know a Sony Animation overlay has been discussed and may be the front runner.

Well, Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs would fit in with the "literature" theme of Islands of Adventure, as would The Smurfs...

And if the whole land was to become "Sony Animation", maybe we could get them to keep/update Sweethaven/Popeye, and replace the rest...

Can a log flume fit into either The Smurfs or Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs?

Okay whatever you say. How about you take your head and shove it up your own a** Uni fanboy. I have APs to both Disney and Uni and I've been going to Uni more as of late, so yeah I guess I'm a Disney fanboy. You're a prime example of why our society is messed up because you think your opinion is always right. All I said was that Uni and IOA needed a few more attractions but I guess you think Uni is perfect the way it is. This must be a touchy subject to you. I hope all Uni fanboys aren't like you. Keep posting in your parents basement and keep telling yourself that you know everything

I never asked you for a self portrait.
But your devotion and loyalty has been noted. However this post, unlike all your other idiotic inane drivel, does contain one thing that is correct. My opinion is indeed always correct. I don't know everything, but unlike you I do know how to post without making myself look like a genital.

I would definately welcome a Cloudy ride! The sequel does actually have a huge river raft scene in the movie so I could definately see it!

I know. I love DAK after Dark. It is so beautiful. And Disney put in a very pricey lighting package that most people never get to see in use. A bit surprised by the 9 closing, but guessing their projections were very high.

DAK is AMAZING after dark, It's too bad the park is almost NEVER open after dark however, The lights around ITBAB are nothng short of awe inspring, Disney has done far too little with this park

I guess you think going on Google searching for big words is going to make you seem intelligent, but anyway you attacked me first, so your the one that looks like the bad guy. Literally all I said was that Uni needed to add just a "few" attractions and I guess you took that personal? Did you lose your virginity at Universal or something, so that's why your defending just a minor complaint? For a guy who deems himself to be so intelligent, I wonder why your lurking these forums on a weekday. Shouldn't you be out and about spreading world peace? Your opinion should be the only one that matters according to you!

Based on what is in the trailer (haven't seen the movie) Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs 2 definitely could.

Dementors supposedly show your true fear.. so they could use it to set more types of fears.. clowns.. spiders..etc..
Have you ever read the book?

also, wow.. this conversation degraded into "my tastes for potter are better than your tastes for avatar!"
Actually, twice each... I haven't bought the eBook versions yet, but plan to.. I also own the 8 movies (on blu ray, the ultimate editions, AWESOME edition for the fans BTW), and have seen each movie more than once... I know that a dementor sucks the soul from its victims... Called the Dementor's Kiss... You are thinking of the Boggarts...

Of course, seeing your posting history, I'm taking your post as sarcasm... Since you come off as one of the more intelligent posters/members here... :)
