Not surprised about the Marvel Meal plans in DLR, given the lines for Thor. I say if they can find a decent place to put it (no, not the Plaza Gardens...but that would be funny) go for it.

Just a note on something I discussed yesterday (I think), but I am going to make a prediction here and now that the Nemo Sub Voyage is coming back to DL this fall, even if just for a last 18-24 month engagement.

A kind TDA cubicle dweller reports that they now have art all over the walls announcing the return and I just don't think Disney is going to lie that blatantly to the Anaheim audience. So, I think anyone wanting a chance to ride them will have 2014-16 to do so.

OK, let's have some ...

Fun With Tweets:

Disney's current state is expressed in the praise being heaped upon WDW because of new concrete slabs.

I got blocked by Theme Park Review for calling them the worst, therefor proving they are indeed the worst.

To be clear: we didn't block anyone due to soda preference, they were blocked for their obnoxious comments. Regardless of subject matter.

I don't fuss with WDW's drama but one of the first things I thought when I first saw the (now old) MK hub was "all this water is cool" :(

Ah, nothing like the sound of Riker playing jazz on the Holodeck.

yeah ... not the most inspired, but I don't feel very well and others are free to play too ...

Why are there men on the mom's pannel? Why do they outnumber the total non-whites featured? Why would someone say they "work for the Canadian government" and not just say their what their day job is? Unless it's not all that special, but I got to give her props for actually going to HKDL and DLP.

I don't know. I don't care. I am just tired of PAID BRAND ADVOCATES.

But, yeah, they are awful white ...

They have "deals" all over the place, including a system in Puerto Rico and a small run from the a raves stadium to the nearest MARTA station.

They constantly approached the Braves and the City of Atlanta, Fulton County, and MARTA over many years, and just as you've noted, they're full of garbage and never had any contracts ever place. Another bogus pipe dream crew that will never get their system in place, although it would be great if someone actually did.

You really have to ask that question in the age of gender neutrality?

If Disney were truly gender neutral, they wonldn't choose a gendered word like "mom" for the pannel. Especially when straight-married men are featured.

Why not just call them "Disney Specialists" or "Disney Travel Specialists"? "Mom's Pannel", reeks of unprofessionalism and doesn't really describe what these people do.

I also find it amusing you chose that particular link to share that story. "Watch" basically describes what those people of cabable of...beyond collecting "donations".

One other Shanghai musing:

Allain over at Disney and More has some more info on SDL's new Tron ride. I've heard from the start to not get my hopes up over this one and, sadly thus far, that seems true.

I still think @Lee and I will have fun riding at opening ... maybe we can get @WDWFigment to join us?
If @WDWFigment doesn't go I would gladly join (pending an invitation). The wife isn't much on crossing an ocean and not going to Italy.

I don't think I would ever do anything like that, but it certainly doesn't make me want to "vomit in my mouth". It's kinda sweet if the couple truly love each other and Disney. (in that order). I love how little time it took to come up with that, however, proposals and weddings are a big thing at Disney, so I guess it shouldn't surprise me at all.
