Thanks for the lists. Is it just me, or does it sound like there is a lot here which sound like things that Disney likes to call attractions, but which really aren't?

Thats what I was thinking. While it can be difficult to tell from the name alone, some are very obviously M&Gs, Merch, Food etc.

Holy cow, Spirit.

Thank you!

But wow. I don't know where to start. But maybe saying that more than half sound like names of gift shops and a decent amount eateries?

Regardless, cool stuff to chew on. It seems like there's a lot of little "lands" which would make for an interesting flow of the park.

I hate to break this to you, but Winter Dreams won't be playing this summer.

I saw Winter Dreams last night, and it was amazingly good. YouTube doesn't do it justice. It's Huge. Heart-tugging. Epic. And warmly charming too, which is a funny thing to say when you are talking about cutting edge tech displayed on 100 foot tall water jets in front of 10,000 people. And did I mention how I'm a grumpy old bachelor who doesn't get the Christmas spirit until December 20th? But still, I was completely in awe last night.

And I don't even know who Olaf the snowman is. I imagine when Frozen hits theaters next week and some of the audience has a basic point of reference for who this Winter Dreams snowman host is, it will be an even better show.
I have to see the original World of Color before I see Winter Dreams don't I? I don't think I'd be able to make it to disneya
SDL

Adventure Isle:

Adventure Supplies
Camp Discovery Challenge Trail
Happy Circle
Laughing Monkey Traders
Piranha Bites
Rainbow Frog Trinkets
Roaring Rapids
Soaring Over the Horizon
Storehouse Stage
Tribal Table
Is Soaring Over the Horizon technically Soarin Over the World? And if it is will Epcot change its Soarin name to match SDL? Thanks for the info!

Well, that's not just attractions, right? A lot of that stuff is food and merch. And, yeah, a bunch sounds like M&G or shows. Or even just placemaking.

Oh indeed. I wasn't aiming directly at Gracia. More that the fact that Magic Bands and MM+ arn't as magical as they want everyone to believe is being written about out loud.

I'll second your JII info too. Don't wanna say I told you so ;)

See you in DCA. Or DLP. Or on a boat. Or the far east. Or up I-4.

That would be nice. First round is on ...@Lee since he has had a better fiscal week than I have.

As to the bands, when everyone was saying they'd be out for everyone by this spring or summer I said they were a good year off. I stand by that.

I am so looking forward to DLP soon, no crazy bands or massive planning required!

Thank you so much Spirit!!! Made my night!

Yes, you'll be able to fly over top this once beloved EPCOT attraction as Miley comes in with her wrecking ball circa 1999. They taped the whole thing and with only a pinch of CG and fairy dust required. True Disney synergy.

WDW can continue to not "make enough" and I'll continue to not give them a cent until some magical epiphany hits this bi-polar management team. Your read continue to be spot on. CA spend, spend, spend, they'll come and spend money with us. FL, spend on timeshares and screw the rest. Shuttering Imagination? At what point will people stop throwing money at these clowns? Two closed pavilions in Epcot, Trebek's 'stache circa mid-90s, lousy CGI at M:S... I give up. I'll go visit the real locales instead of the international village of shops and dining at World Showcase.

it is all MAGICal BS ...one day they will realize they had it all and destroyed it. Even the newbies who ignorantly think "WDW has never been better" and the social media BloggingWhores won't be enough. They don't have the best quality parks or attractions in Florida anymore ...and even the Walmart crowd they coveted and attract now do notice when they ride through PotC and the animatronics are all frozen or when they see filth and cobwebs all over Small World (right @alissafalco ?) or when a ride all about a giant yeti doesn't even feature him etc.

I have never seen an entertainment company run so poorly, and that covers a lot of territory. But the immediate bottom line looks good to the Street and that is all that matters.
