Sully you achieved something that many have thought of doing in these games, but only you have accomplished. You were a vital part of every single project, and grew so much throughout this season into one of the most formidable players this game and these forums have ever seen. And what's scary and exciting is... you're just getting started! You earned this and much more. I'm so glad we've gotten to know each other and you've found a home here on the forums. Here's to many more games together...

And with that... comes an imagineer whose first Sorcerer's Apprentice game was over 10 years ago... someone who was already a star imagineer on the forum, who had hosted and achieved many imagineering marvels, but somehow this season had a mission to improve. Not only musically, but with enhanced storytelling, leadership, artistic ability, all while halfway across the world from many of us.

On behalf of the cast of the Sorcerer's Apprentice Season 8, it is my pleasure to announce that the eighth Sorcerer's Apprentice is....

From Worlds of Wonder to Nexus Expo, you continued to shine though with each passing book, from 2nd place last year...now you are, the Sorcerer's Apprentice! Congratulations!!

OH WOW I DID IT.

Seriously thank you all for being so amazing. Thank you especially to @Mr. Sullivan for putting in such a spectacular first season and making it all the way to the top with me, and to @spacemt354 for being an amazing (SOLO!) host.

As I mentioned at the very end of my project, I really tried to take risks this season and I feel like that’s pushed me to really improve, like, every aspect of how I make these projects. I’m so glad that’s paid off. I don’t know what I would have done had I wasted four hours building a model for second place.

I think I’m going to take a break for a bit, but I’ll definitely still be around. Thanks again to everyone for such a stellar, stellar season!

Nezahualcoyotl, Cdunlap’s favorite Aztec philosopher warrior king, appears and maybe defeats the Horned King before conquering Prydain in the name of Texcoco (given he defeats the Horned King!)

Oh wait sorry. Congratulations to Nazahualcoyotl with their fantastic Jai Alai Pavilion. I knew you had it in you.

No, he wasn’t playing. I just summoned him from the Aztec underworld of Mictlan to defeat the Horned King and end his reign of terror over Prydain for once and for all. Then, Nezahualcoyotl conquered Prydain and claimed it for Texcoco, so I guess that makes Prydain the only part of the Aztec Triple Alliance in Europe!

@JokersWild Such an incredibly well deserved win for an incredible season. I have truly been in awe of you and your mind and your creativity and your spirit this whole time. It was a privilege to create alongside you. You truly inspire me to push and innovate as much and as often as you do.

With the next Sorcerer's Apprentice crowned...the universe began to glow again. Projects and expansions populated throughout the land. Color and bright auras began to permeate the regions.

Deep in the Magic Kingdom, the Horned King became trapped in his castle as @PerGron locked the gates.

" @Mr. Sullivan and @JokersWild --- you two do the honors" PerGron stated as Jokers held the Sorcerer's Hat and with Sully's assistance cast a magical dome around the castle keeping him locked inside...

"This... this isn't over yet" The Horned King scowled

"With talent like this cast" @JokersWild stated "You're going to be locked in here for a long time... "

The imagineers took one final day in the Sorcerer's Apprentice Universe together... to enjoy themselves and all the new friendships that had been made, as the season came to a happy ending...

And a huge congratulations to all of you as well. I managed to be on the winning team of every challenge this season, and we have joked about it naturally but I know exactly how it happened. It happened because I was lucky enough to share teams with incredibly smart, talented, forward thinking people. People who inspired me to push, people who pushed all their own, people who were bringing their A game even if I certainly wasn’t and they lifted me up with their glory. So little of the wins had a thing to do with me, if was mostly you incredible people doing your thing and giving me the best armchair imagineering education anyone could ask for. Thank you for sharing so much of your genius.

Me finding out that Nezahualcoyotl failed to follow basic instructions by defeating the Horned King, thereby ending his reign of terror over Prydain, then conquering Prydain, thereby giving the Aztec Triple Alliance land in Europe:

GODS, THE HORNED KING IS STILL ALIVE AND HIS REIGN OF TERROR WILL CONTINUE OVER PRYDAIN! NEZAHUALCOYOTL, HOW DARE YOU DISOBEY MY VERY OBVIOUS INSTRUCTIONS?! Still enjoy your presence though!
