I haven't finished it yet. Only watched the first half. But I feel like the differences between the Snyder Cut and theatrical were overblown a bit.

People were talking about it like Whedon changed every single scene to make it a whole new, but so far it seems like exactly what they told us he would originally. Cut it down to 2 hours, brighten the colors, and add a few more jokes. It is nice to get Cyborg's back story and all. But I can see why it was cut. He's a Cyborg. Everything you need to know about him going into Justice League is in his name lol.

I am glad it got made though. I might not be a big fan of Snyder's films, but the guy seems like one of the nicest people on the planet. I hope he gets more streaming series projects over movies, because the longer run time really suits him more than needing to work within the confines of the reality of theatrical releases.

So I just finished it - very satisfied, story beats that I expected but I would want to see a sequel to this
Yeah, I was very satisfied. Obviously a decent amount of same footage, but there was small snippets here and there (minus the major character stuff) that really provided a ton of context whedon's version didn't. What they did with Steppenwolf and Darkseid I thought was so much better.

I was surprised how much humor in the film came from Snyder's original cut, I thought in this one is was much more effective rather than the lame Flash landing on Wonder Woman stuff.

Cyborg and Flash I thought benefitted the most from the added screen time. Flash running back through time to save everyone with the new Junkie XL score I thought was stunning. How anyone could scrap that to think the 2017 ending was better I will never know. They also felt more like a team than in the original, each one served a purpose and I thought the Old Gods in the flashback vs the New Gods (the Justice League) felt earned rather than a rushed 2-hour dud.

As for the epilogue scenes, at this point I just want to see this vision play out. We've basically had a mini-movie already of the Knightmare scenes so might as well go forward and who knows if they have The Atom and Martian Manhunter join the team too
