Frozen Ever After. I had heard so much hype about it, and the actual ride just...well, it feels like it's missing something.
If they could only expand the ride building, it would help the ride out so much. Given that Maelstrom was such a small attraction, the small size did not do Frozen justice, even after they destroyed the theater and original queue. Given that the Royal Sommerhus takes up the front half of the expansion pad, they could easily expand the ride building behind it. More scenes, more animatronics, a clearer story -- it would help so much!

I’m pretty sure Ellen would’ve been removed recently even without the inclusion of Guardians of the Galaxy...
Nobody caught my ride refurbish idea but I talked about adding the Universe of Energy animatronics to Primeval Whirl.

I second Frozen Ever After as most overrated. Glad I finally rode it in October. I might not ride it again if waits are 45+ minutes.

They could've also used them for the Magic Kingdom Railroad too and done a DINOrama like the one at Disneyland.

It's a shame that they scraped all but a few of the smaller ones as maintenance "doubles" for the Primeval World.

Wait, it was once open air?
Before the load station for Space Mountain was covered, you could look up from there and see the coasters trains (which had glow in the dark sides) going through "space" and the PeopleMover just above the load station. But when they covered the load stations it most blocked the view the People Mover had into Space Mountain. Plus, the coaster cars don't glow so you can't see much even with the smaller window into the ride.

I'm going to have to look for old photos/videos of this. When was that?

There were pros and cons to it - the pro is you didn't mind weaving in and out of the line too much because you could look up and watch the rockets go by or the peoplemover. The con was you could see the lights of the queue area from the ride at some points. Now it's much darker.
For sure. It improved the actual ride on Space Mountain. But it made the queue and the PeopleMover a bit worse.
