I hope you all are having a nice Christmas. Just finished watching WW1984. It was not good at all. One of the worst movies of the year imo. Did anyone else watch it?

Mando really carried that movie. He chewed the scenery the proper amount for such a silly film. Everyone else seemed to be acting as if this was a significantly more serious film than the first rather than a significantly more goofy one. Lead to a lot of dissonance in the tone.

Soul is definitely the better of the two movies. Not a new stand out for Pixar or anything, but another strong entry for the studio. Adored the animation in it. And it struck the right emotional chords

Infinity Train with my newfound HBOMax is better than both so far tbh.

I’m a few minutes into WW84 and all I have to say is that Kristen Wiig’s Barbara Minerva is really starting to seem like another Comic Book villain:
