The Multiverse has transported us to an alternate reality… a reality without Disneyland! Welcome to the Retroverse, where the world lacks any joy or creativity, and as such could never create Disneyland Park in 1955.
While Mickey and his allies work to rebuild 1955 Disneyland, you need to add a creative spark. Something setting this reality apart from the others.
For this challenge, teams will create an expansion to Main Street USA, opening with the rest of the park in 1955.
It can be inspired by Liberty Street, Edison Square, or International Street, several planned expansions to Main Street that never saw the light of day. Or it can be an entirely original concept made by you.
Tips
- Choose a theme that inspires you the most: the theme can be as realistic or unorthodox as you’d like, it's the execution and passion that counts.
- Remember to stick to 1950s / 60s era technology!
- Go nuts with it! It's an open canvas of imagination and creativity!
