My stance on the whole "Sweet Victory" thing:

I don't think the NFL was aware of the whole Hillenburg thing and just thought people were asking them to perform Sweet Victory ironically. Or maybe it was too late for them to add it in, or maybe licensing issues. But still, there was enough time for them to put it in. It feels like they said, "Here's your dumb Spongebob thing, you happy now?" This is probably one of the worst and most baffling things the NFL has ever done.

Also, shout-out to the Dallas Stars and the NHL for actually playing Sweet Victory during their halftime!
