I would recommend at least 15-30 mins before rope drop. I know that sounds drastic but I'd be shocked if they don't close the gates next summer (I've seen it happen before). Plus parking is filling up on days like yesterday so I can't imagine in the middle of Summer with SW:GE

That doesn't sound too drastic at all! I've been to WDW earlier for rides that I've been on 100 times, 30 minutes isn't bad at all. Our hotel is off property but within walking distance, so parking won't be a problem. Thanks again for all the help!
