@TheOriginalTiki will most likely start up another season of 1984 after the first few eliminations so another comp will come soon!
I guess since everyone seems so eager, I could just begin the imagineering portion of this competition today by posting the Reward Challenge tonight... What do you guys think about that?

Episode 1 Reward Challenge
A Totally New Tower
Castaways, welcome to your very first Reward Challenge. Your task? Well, we need a little backstory first...
The year is 2019. Unfortunately, in a disagreement between Disney and CBS, Disney has been required by the state of Florida to remove all references to the Twilight Zone from one of the park's most popular attractions.
So, for this Reward Challenge, our castaways are tasked with "refurbishing" the Twilight Zone Tower of Terror into a new and improved version of this classic attraction. This attraction must remove all references to the Twilight Zone. Everything else is fair game. Want to change the ride system? Fine! Want to get rid of the drop tower? Fine! Whatever you want is fine! But, be sure to keep it realistic!
But... There's a twist...
Everyone has been talking about how they'll use their tribe's skill sets to their advantage and its obvious both tribes are meshing quite well. Well, you'll have to set those ideas aside this week, as THIS REWARD CHALLENGE WILL BE INDIVIDUAL. You will create all concepts on your own without any help from your fellow tribe mates. At the end of the week, there should be 16 individual projects.
In addition, this reward has two parts. First, there will be two winners to this challenge. The highest ranking castaways from each tribe will each receive an individual reward. Second, the first place (overall) castaway will be granted a reward for this tribe.
This challenge is due Wednesday, January 6th at 6:00 PM EST. You may use no more than 15 photos and you may not use a website for this challenge.

Just a question...what's considered realistic given the infrastructure of the building? You said we could get rid of the drop tower but is that considered realistic?
Something that would either cause Disney so much money that they wouldn't actually do it. I really just want you guys to not go so crazy that you completely ruin the idea of The Tower of terror. The idea that you can take the tower down was more figurative, to show that you guys can do "practically" whatever you want with the story and methods of story telling.

I'm pumped for 1984 Season Two, but I think this a little early to start the competition. Maybe halfway through the competition?
