HEY -- I DIDN'T WRITE THE BOOK OKAY!

Holy Cow!

Guess what, if you are a Disney Exec, you can get people in the parks. Who gives a flip how "secret" this may be. This is the dumbest revolt of a topic ever. May the Lord bless you and keep you all!

Okay... *shakes head at all of this*

The Silver Pass is one of MANY such passes offered to CM's or CM-type folks who work with/for/adjunct-to/hither-to-for/subleased-to/etc Disney.

Discussing it is by no means against any Non Disclosure Agreement. In fact, it covers other family members and friends who could not reasonably be expected to comply with someone elses NDA. It is merely a type of admission media given out to employee types.

Incase you're wondering there are also green ones, blue ones, gold ones, and others.

NDA's cover things that if released would be detrimental to the operation of the company. Information which, in most cases, most folks wont know.

For example, if I knew about some ride (now i am totally making this up) involving hot air balloons and riding around the world showcase and landing in each restaurant, but it was tenative, but it would close several restaurants, releasing that information would be bad and against my NDA. People would not book the restaurants and they would lose revenue if they didn't go forward with the project - all my fault. It's supposed to protect from thing like that.

Bu in general, things that are true and immediate or operationately pertinent have nothing to do with a NDA.

I may not work for Disney, but I do know that SAFETY and COURTESY come before show.

Exactly. Which was the point from the begining.

However, there is a clause (or at least their was as of two or so years ago) in Disney's NDA that you are not to disclose what was or was not covered by the NDA, or that you signed one at all.

So, technically, the self-righteous, "I can't say anything - NDA!" would violate it.

Obviously, I don't think Disney would care. But the irony was just to ripe not to be noted.
