In August from the Epcot monorail I noticed the back of The Seas went from blue to beige... I honestly just thought this was as far as they painted the blue as opposed to this being either where they started or a test.

No I meant that “experience journey to water” bit…

It’s a rock garden…
…and not an “experience”

…it shouldn’t be that easy for Bob to rob people.
Well walking through a garden could be an experience to one person and a complete bore to another. Honestly I haven't seen it but I imagine it may be a nice respite from the action around the front of the park.

Pics from today, all the recent rain appears to have put the repaint on pause:

From the Epcot monorail today (10/1 🎂). Wasn't even expecting this as I never take the Epcot monorail. My usually thing is to hop from MK to HS then EC, but the GOTG VQ changed all that lol.

The scattered rain was atrocious today. On and off every other hour til the evening. Looks like the beige paint hadn't fully dried yet and is bleeding onto the blue areas.

What action? It will be the same Spaceship Earth, and then a lot of trees like a public park... I don't know that you would need a respite from the action and excitement of a bronze Walt statue and a lot of trees... lol

I'm glad to see the new paint scheme, but would like to see the waves crashing come back. It really stinks it's gone and I'm just hoping the machinery is being refurbished.

I don’t mind the scheme, I just wish they had gone even lighter/whiter in their take. I think the building has beautiful sweeping curves that are very modern. They could have kept going in that direction even more! Add an updated lighting package and that would really bring it up to date.

Oh, right. What's with their recent obsession with beige?
I mean, it’s much closer to the original intent, and it’ll probably blend much better with the surroundings and overall earthier vibe of World Nature. Blue is also now the core color of World Celebration, which may have played into this.

I’ll be interested to see if they move away from blue on the Test Track redo too.
