The Rock to star in "Tomorrowland"

Okay honestly I can see this having huge potential. Whether the writers can tap that potential? That's another story.

Imagine using the old characters from AE and X-S Tech? An Alien-esque movie. Of course it will probably center around something lame, but hey that's why I'm an engineer and not a screen writer.

Well if that is the case It would be awesome to see those X-S Aliens back but if he is hunting aliens, You run into trouble of making another "Doom" although one safe for Disney audiences.

I just can't wait to see how everyhing's gonna tye-in, and I hope they do use Former attractions as well in the movie. It would be awesome to see Timekeeper and Nine-Eye again

Oh, Disney, why? Please leave the Parks alone and focus on coming up with original movie ideas that don't focus on lame, talking chihuahuas. I beg you! I used to look forward to your movies, now only the animated fare seems to have any kind of heart or plot. Those last two Pirates movies turned me off the the franchise permanently. And I definitely don't want the movies invading the attractions they're based on. The sooner Jack Sparrow & Co. are removed from the Pirates of the Caribbean attraction, the better.
Look, I like Dwayne Johnson's acting, which surpises me still because he was a part of that brain-dead wrestling nonsense, but I don't want to see him in a movie called "Tomorrowland," or for that matter, "The Jungle Cruise Movie," "Symbiosis: The Movie," or "Rafiki's Planet Watch: The Movie." Give him something good and original to do. Or are we eventually going to have to put up with "Club Cool: The Motion Picture?"

I forsee no good coming from this....just the idea of a movie on such a dynamically changing section of the parks...and the fact that each version looks totally different these days.

Adventureland, fine, Frontierland, no problem, but tomorrowland...can't see it working.

For some reason "Tomorroland: The Movie" reminds me of "Spaceballs: The Flamethrower".

Merchandising, merchandising, where the real money from the movie is made. Tomorrow Land-the T-shirt, Tomorrowland-the Coloring Book, Tomorrowland-the Lunch box, Tomorrowland -the Breakfast Cereal, Tomorrowland-the Flame Thrower.

If you are interested, G4 premires the first 4 episodes of Spaceballs: Animated Series on Sunday. It's sandwiched between airings of the movie. It looks very low brow though. But, I'm willing to invest the 4 episodes to give it a shot. I'm really looking forward to the McKenzie Brothers Great White North Animated coming up on Fox this winter.
