I just realized...he was in one of the pictures posted the morning after Splash Mountain closed. He's been there all along.

You guys I'm honored Ladder decided to vacation in Cleveland. I expect he'll be back in Orlando soon

Pardon the photo but it appears that Ladder’s invasion of the former Splash Mountain has begun in earnest. Ladder had a legion of about three or four of its companions at this spot.

I wonder if ladders hibernate? I spotted this one in the woods of Asia near the Aviary (currently closed). Maybe a union required break.
