The return of a Disneyland in Brazil - in a new location (open brainstorming)

I like it better!
Doubt: is the cursed old miner a AA or a real live actor?

It's an AA.

How about summing up what u already have so far? What's next?

Here's what the park has so far:
  • Dream Street, a new version of Main Street
  • The castle being the same design as the new one being planned for Hong Kong
  • Train station with a coffee shop inside sponsored by Starbucks
  • Trains around the parks have tables for taking your drinks on, also sponsored by Starbucks
    • At least three trains so far (the C.K. Holliday (#55), the Card Walker (#83), the P.H. Gas (#92)), with a fourth one planned after the park opens (the J. Oliveira (#??))
  • A new land: International Expo Gardens, home to the following:
    • It's a Small World
    • Soaring the World Over (with a new closing set in Rio de Janeiro)
    • Character meet-n-greet trails like Fantasy Gardens (where you can meet Jose Carioca)
  • A new Adventureland that merges that land and Frontierland into one, featuring at least the following three attractions:
    • Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Cove (a water coaster version of POTC)
    • Expedição do Rio Aventura (Adventure River Expedition), a river rapids ride with elements of the Jungle Cruise, the Rivers of America and Tokyo's Western River Railroad
    • Thunder God Mountain Railroad
  • A new design for Goofy to be introduced in this park and eventually spread to all parks worldwide
And by the way, I would like to add something to the Gardens, if I haven't already: a copy of the Fantasia Carousel from Shanghai, here called "Carrossel de Fantasia".

As for what's next, it's pretty big, but until then, I want to do one more thing related to Adventureland, a walk-around area like Tom Sawyer Island or Adventure Isle. I will put up a visual sometime soon to help out.

This giant Adventureland/Frontierland hybrid is based on the concept for Hong Kong Disneyland back in its earliest planning stages, circa 1997. On the map showing the earliest mockup, there are two walkaround areas:

disneylandasiamap.jpg

One reads "Jungle Gardens" and the other reads "Pirates' Cove/Wilderness Trail (TS Island Activities)". I'm trying to figure how to combine these two into one. More importantly, I'm trying to figure out how to make them blend.

Does anyone have any ideas?

Yes
How does anyone think (@spacemt354, @SeAraujo, @Pionmycake) the Pirates Cove/Wilderness Trail (TS Island Activities) hybrid should be done? How can they be blended?

Honestly, I think the adventureland scavenger hunt in magic kingdom could be a good basis. Make a few different paths through the jungle, each one follows a different story. They can zig zag around each other a bit. Parts can be caves. Parts can be gardens. Maybe a large shipwreck that was blown into the heart of the island by a huge storm.

That's such a cool park map. It's a smaller Disney park, but it still makes sense.

Good ideas, but there has to be a bit of the Frontierland-like style here, too. I also think there needs to be a proper name for this attraction. It's not just pirates, it's also wilderness trails, as the label suggests.

They actually did this at Hong Kong Disneyland for the release of At World's End. Pirates took over all of Adventureland with interactive events and treasure hunts. A treasure hunt on an island would be a perfect combination.

Good ideas, but I want to combine it with the Frontierland side of the area, too. This will straddle the border between the two subareas. It could be something like the actual TSI at Disneyland, which was recently renamed "Pirates Lair on TSI".

Yeah, just have the visuals represent that transition with the treasure hunt tying the area together.

But the name for this place should not just reflect pirates. There should also be the option of just exploring if you're not interested in the treasure hunt.
Yeah, you can name it whatever. Lost Jungle. Hidden Woods. Treasure Trails. Tropical Paradise. Adventure Island. Shipwreck Cove.

And yeah, the paths are set up for the treasure hunt games, but anyone can just walk through if they want.

I would then go back to my suggestion before

Explorers of the Seven Seas doesn't really have the Frontierland feel to me. Again, it invokes pirates, in this case, which is fine, but it also seems somewhat limiting.

I want to set it up so that it's not limited to just the jungle-like style of Adventureland. I want something so that it can be themed to the Frontierland-style area of this land, too, like how the Adventure River Expedition combines elements of the Jungle Cruise and the Rivers of America. Your ideas are good, but they seem more limited to the "jungle" side of things.

Fort Exploration

Forts were common in the Caribbean to ward of sea attacks, they're also common in the Wild West of Frontierland, ie Fort Comstock in Disneyland Paris

Maybe the exploration area could be called Discovery Island? That's about as all-encompassing in the area as I can get.
Whatever you want to name it is fine. I just thought this exercise was an attempt to try and find a new name that hasn't been used before in Disney Resorts (Discovery Island being both the actual island in Bay Lake and the land in Animal Kingdom)

Well, it was just extremely difficult to come up with names that were all-encompassing, since they all seemed to err on one side of the area's theme or the other.

I didn't even come up with Discovery Island until I remembered that its original name was Treasure Island.
