Hi Folks. Now I've read on here that some people think resorts like the values are way too loud with bright colours and giant Disney icons, too much in the face kinda thing and I can appreciate that view. But what resort at WDW makes you completely relaxed. The CBR was to me like a Caribbean island with parties going on everywhere,it was fun,but not relaxing..Take the POFQ for example.I walk into the food court and there's giant Mardi Gras masks hanging from the ceilings, just waiting for a 12 piece jazz band striking up " Oh when the saints go marching in." But yet at PORS I was having a early morning coffee (from the food court ) last year about 7.00am just outside at a table next to the big water wheel,it was so peaceful. I swear I could hear strains of " Shenandoah " as I looked down the old Sassagoula and watched the sunrise.Phew! For one moment there,I was back.Anyway, what resort at Disney makes you feel relaxed, and why.?:)

Grand Floridian and Yacht Club. Just so easy breezy and calm soothing colors. Especially the pool at YC/BC. Could hang on that lazy river and sand bottom pool forever!!! :) I love the feel of Grand Floridian - that it takes you back to a time that is so calm and relaxed. Ahhh, now I need to go to WDW and relax!! :)

I love strolling around the GF around 6am, no one is around especially in October. I love to sit and hear the world go by. Last time I strolled from the GF over to the Poly it's couldn't have even been 5:30 am and it was awesome. The Poly I must agree is just so tranquil. My husband loves the WL coming in at night on the boat, lights flickering through the trees.

That is a hard one since we tend to be relaxed at most of the resorts we have stayed at. But I think for us it would have to be the Wilderness Lodge...just sitting there in the lobby with the fire going in the early spring, its just there is something about it that makes me forget I am in the middle of the happiest place on Earth and am somewhere far far away...love it.

While PORS is definitely on my list, the lobby of the WL cannot be beat. The wonderful seating, the fireplace, the music is just so relaxing and beautiful. The only problem is the ruckus from the Whispering Canyon, which can be pretty loud at times. We love to find one of the little out of the way seating areas that the WL has, a few by a fireplace, and sit with a drink after the parks and restaurant are closed. Very quiet and relaxing.

The seating area on the 3rd (I think) floor over the front entrace is a good one, as is the roof.

In the DVC wing, the whole first floor is great - inside and out.

The quiet pool by the DVC wing is also very calm.

Coronado Springs all the way and here's why! Whether taking a stroll or hanging about in a hammock around the serene Lago Dorado, taking a dip in one of the many Quiet pools, getting a massage or other treatment at the health spa and salon, having a night cap at the Laguna bar, or just hanging out in your beautiful room rarely if ever have I ran into many people or conventioniers or had to deal with tons of noise on the property. As said before Coronado Springs tends to get alot of adult guests so I think everyone is of like mind to sit back relax and enjoy a quieter resort experience.

Its certainly no secret, but I love, love, love the Polynesian!! We have done the cabanas, and also love sitting on the beach with a cocktail. Even sitting on the balcony of our room, feet up, looking over the grounds is very very relaxing. I am so looking forward to Wilderness Lodge this coming November, from what so many members say, its extremely relaxing as well
