Day 28

Disney is known for making their parks and rides family-friendly. However, there are some rides that could push that boundary a bit and turn up the intensity.

Your task is to..
Propose a scary Halloween overlay for a ride. BUT it must be a ride in one of the four Florida Disney Parks.

Some reminders:
-You can keep it simple! You don’t have to make a full blown 10 page document on the ride. You can do a couple sentences and/or a few pictures. Whatever you feel comfortable with

-Don’t be scared to share your ideas! Every idea is a good idea

-Have fun with it! Don’t be afraid to think outside the box.
Space Mountain: They Came From The Nebula!
Blood-Moon.jpg
Space Mountain: They Came From The Nebula! draws influences from 1950s and 60s horror and science fiction films. A moon near the space station is undergoing a rare Blood Moon phase during a nebula storm, which sees some unexpected ;and hostile; visitors from other worlds.

So, better hope you brought that big appetite, because there's plenty to enjoy!

Themed after "The Sorcerer's Apprentice" from Fantasia, this charming tea room was conjured by Yen Sid, with a little help from Mickey. Of course, animated broomsticks are a little tricky to use as waiters, so instead we enter a place frozen in time where the brooms are carrying buckets of enchanted water around the room. Jumping fountains decorate the room, as do many decorations referencing the other musical segments of Fantasia. The menu is soft and simple, though made up of magically crafted cakes and flavoured types of tea.

At least in my case, it was the fact that we know nothing from that concept art, plus trying to come up with a natural way to have "Pink" in the title. It's not like the Star Wars world prompt from last season, where we have a clear anchor from which to paint freely.
Totally understand! Tomorrow will for sure have a lot more to work with. I promise!

I’ll take a stab at it…

In the world of Pink Horizons, you will find floating hills, dinosaur-like creatures, flying monkeys, and figments of imagination. Although the world is known for its tranquility, humans who travel there have a hard time discerning whether things are friends or foes. This is largely due to the fact that nobody who has gone there has ever brought back word to Earth.

Mickey Mouse and Roger Rabbit in The Stooge
1639353814167.png

The movie is called The Stooge. It will be based on the classic Dean Martin and Jerry Lewis movie of the same name. The story has the emotional empathy and sensibilities of Wall-E and Toy Story. It will be a (G) Rated Pixar type animated musical buddy comedy. Mickey takes on the Dean Martin role, Roger, who is already regarded as a comic genius in France, takes the Jerry Lewis part.
Mickey Mouse and Roger Rabbit are teaming up on their comedy act touring around Disneyland to take a Toon Train from Toontown as Roger will met his first love, Jessica Rabbit as time before they are married for few years later. There will be many Toon cameos such as Droopy Dog, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck, Betty Boop and more.
