I am not too picky, I like pretty much anything on a pizza save for fruit or fish. If we have the kids with us we order a meat pizza, sans kids we go for everything minus black olives.

Any good Chicago style deep dish pizza.:)

Of course, having grown up eating Pepe's and Sally's in New Haven, CT, they weren't too shabby either.:)

Anything as long as it doesn't have PIneapple, Olives or Anchovies on! I LOVE PIzza!

Oh! plus it must have meat on, what's the point of eating a vegetable PIzza! Pointless!

It depends where it's from.

We have a local pizza place where I live and I love the extra cheese. Anything else takes away from it. Also, on one of our trips to WDW we found a pizza place called Flipper's and it's some of the best pizza I've had. Once again, I like that with extra cheese only. I've been to other places where I like pepperoni, sausage/green olive, etc. Hoping to try the pizza at Via Napoli on our upcoming trip!

Pineapple and Canadian bacon on a pie is fantastic.

What about brands? Do you choose a national brand or the hidden mom and pop shop?

My opinion is, the mom and pop shop usually have the better pies, most national brands, like Pizza Hut have that cookie cutter taste, and Pizza Hut is terribly greasy. But I LOVE the Papa John's chicken, bacon, onion barbeque Pizza, its fantastic. If I was forced to eat at a national brand, it would be Papa John's hands down.

Another place that deserves its reputation is Lou Malnati's from Chicago. If you watch any "Best of" program on TV where the best pizza places are, Lou's usually almost always comes up, and deservingly so.

The only chain that I really enjoy is Mellow Mushroom, but there prices are a little nuts. On average it is about $27 for a large specialty hand tossed. The place we frequent is a mom and pop called Moon River. A large specialty peaks out at $20, everything is fresh and they have a good craft beer selection.

I don't really like Dominos, and I like local pizza the best. I'm more of a large, plain pizza guy to be honest. But don't mind pepperonis.

Same with me, except I like Domino's deep dish. That's good. The other stuff isn't really good.

Anytime we have co-workers come in from other parts of the country, we always go to Lou Malnati's to have them experience the best Chicago style Deep Dish pizza. 1-800-Lou to Go! For Lou's, you gotta get the sausage patty. It isn't just pieces of Sausage, but an entire patty that covers the entire crust...Sho is good!!!

I am a bit of a pizza snob myself. I can't stand any of the "cheap" chain pizza places. ie, Papa Junk's, Dominoes, Little Caesars, Pizza Hut, etc. It's just awful.

When we do order out, I prefer to get Rosati's. Papa Saverio's is good too. We have a couple of local mom and pop shops that dish out a very good pie too. It is a nice problem to have.

I am usually a Pepperoni and Black Olive's kinda guy or just plain Sausage. I prefer a bit "well done". And it can't be that flimsy, super thin N.Y. style garbage. Might as well put some sauce and cheese on construction paper and eat it. It has to be able to stand up when you hold it by the crust and be able to actually tase the crust.

I also prefer the Chicago Style Squares as opposed to the pie slices, but that doesn't effect the taste at all.

When I make my own pizza's at home, I prefer using Pastorelli sauce and since there isn't a good pre-packaged dough out there, I make the dough by myself. Then top it with an Italian style cheese mix and not just Mozzarella.

I will agree with this as well. I never really did like Rosati's though. Its the pizza I grew up on because most of my family loves it, I just never really cared for it all that much.

The other place we really like is Maciano's, the baccon green pepper pizza is awesome. If given a choice, I prefer an everything on it pizza.

I like ground beef, mushrooms and black olives. Not a big meat fan on pizza, can't stand ham, Canadian bacon, or sausage. Can live with pepperoni; have no use for pineapple!

There is a really good joint named Felini's in Atlanta (4 locations, best being on E Ponce).

Sausage and Green Peppers
or
Vodka Pie with Prosciutto

I never get chain pizza. I'm surrounded by great local pizza places. Many are open until 3am so even the bar crowds by me aren't stuck with the bland stuff. Late at night they get crazy with the toppings too (Chili cheese fries, chicken Cesar salad with bacon bits).
