Changes coming:
- TSM expanded
- TSPlayland clone from Paris
- Clone of CarsLand from California (at least RSR)
- New Fantasmic
- New coaster (Crush's Coaster clone from Paris or a new Monsters based coaster)
- New shows of Tangled and Frozen coming to replace BaTB and VoTLM
- Star Wars Land
Is this actually insider info? Or just speculation? Because honestly I'd prefer a family dark ride over Cars. Monsters coaster and the Star Wars E-ticket will both have height requirements. There should probably be a new major ride that everyone can enjoy.

seems like a lot
With a $1.7 billion budget (or at least something as big as DCA's makeover)... that's about what I would expect.

Much of this has basically been rumored already, but if you actually got real confirmation from somewhere...

He just parrots what he reads here and on Micechat... yet doesn't state he's just repeating what others have told him. Same old song and dance here..

Forget Carsland. I'd much rather see the real Indy come to WDW.

For $1.5B they could probably get Harrison Ford to appear as a permanent meet and greet. I'd rather have new rides;)

Seriously, if they really are going to reboot the Indy franchise it would be short sighted to remove the only Indy attraction from WDW and not replace it.

I get what you're saying, and I am not disagreeing. I just seem to remember one of the "in the know" people here saying something about TDO not wanting to fork out the money for a ride that will be out of service as much as that one would during the rainy times of the year.
It wouldn't be out of service any more than Test Track. If your ride has to close in the rain, it doesn't matter if it's 10 feet of track outside or 10 miles.
Could they build an all-indoor version of Radiator Springs Racers that ends with a high speed lap of the building, maybe on a different floor?
If it were all indoors, it would "fix" the weird quirk of the California version where it can be bright daylight outside but it's always "night" at Radiator Springs indoors.
I never thought it was incongruous. You drive around in the country in the beginning (outside, so could be day or night), you get to town the night before the race, the paint/wheels and Doc's pep talk are indoors on the day of the race (could be any time), then you race (the race takes place day or night, depending on when you're riding).
The best clones are those that do not seek to offer an entirely duplicate experience. Let them be similar but different.
The scenery is a big part of the ride. And Radiator Springs builds up to RSR better/more than any other Disney ride/land combo... better than Sunset Blvd and ToT. I actually suggested an all-ages indoor dark ride version of RSR for DHS (and one for Japan in WS, but that was much more blue sky) a long time ago, but it would be hard to live up to the original. That's my concern; I don't need them to be the same, but it would be tough to measure up to the DCA one.

Twenty years ago, it was significantly better than DL. Times could change again.

Yes I agree 20 years ago WDW was light years ahead of DL, Trouble is the management culture which developed post 9/11 which is one based on cost cutting which threatens to engulf all of P&R. Right now I think the only hope would be a sale to OLC who actually LIKES running Disney Theme Parks because TWDC is transforming itself into an IP holding conglomerate.
