A trip.
You all know I love me some Dodgers, well, this year when they will be in NY I will be in Florida. Last year we drove to Philly to see them but this year when they are in Philly I will be out of town.

How about Tampa? Tickets on frontier for two under $120 to get there? YES!

Ant finally coming home after months working in Tennessee? YES!

Three day weekend?
YES!

Ant has a vendor coming from Korea?
Nooooooooo

The eldest, X stepped in under one condition, we spend a day at Epcot.
Twist my arm.

Today we went to the Dodger game in Tampa
We had amazing seats. I saved a ton on our room and the flight was cheap so I splurged on the seats. Behind home plate🥰

And they won!!!
( to be honest I could not go back tomorrow to that stadium. It is worse than people say it is. I felt like we were in a high school gymnasium…underground! Bad)

And our cheap room? er I mean all star sports.

We got here about 9:00, starving! We had wawa and were going to eat in the room. We go directly to the room, I open the door and one bed.
We go to the front desk and I am annoyed, and hungry and so very tired. They take care of it after maybe 30 minutes and gave us free G+ for tomorrow.

My kids question every move I make at Disney. Why? How Come? Blah blah blah. I hate to say it but my sister just did as she was told. She had total faith. (Btw, my son’s GF’s mom told me my son said I was THE BEST at Disney. Then why fight me on everything?)
Do they help at all with the planning or do you do it all?
I'm lucky with our trip this summer that my daughter is old enough to and wants to help with the planning. I've always done trip planning all by myself, which also means I'm the only one who knows about things like making dining reservations, making fast pass reservations, knowing the forms of transportation available, etc. If I make a mistake, it's everyone's problem because no one else knows how to fix it or that there's even a problem. But then my husband ignores the plan and goes "Do we really need to go back to the resort in the afternoon? Let's just stay here and do this and that, etc..." and THEN when it's 6:00pm, he's done and just wants to go back to the resort without watching the fireworks show or anything and he doesn't even want to go to dinner, and he's like "We can just grab something fast at the resort" and I'm like "No. We can't, because I have this ADR and we'll be charged 10 bucks per person if we cancel, and I've been looking forward to this meal for MONTHS!" And then he's irritated and surly because he's overheated and tired, when if he'd just gone back to the resort and had a rest in the afternoon, he'd be fine. And as soon as we've eaten, he wants to leave...like "Ok, you've had your meal you've been looking forward to. Can we go now?" but I still want to see the fireworks or go on soarin' one more time. There was one day that he just decided he was going off and doing his own thing, so when I asked him to put something in his park bag, he snapped at me to put it in my own, because he wasn't going to be with us. Then he was angry that I asked him to at least join us for Teppan Edo that night because I had booked it especially for him because they have sushi. I'm looking forward to not having anyone questioning the planning this time, because it's JUST my daughter and me and she's helped with all the planning and knows what she's doing now. As bad as it sounds, we'll have a MUCH better time with just the two of us.

Well at least you got SOME compensation, but that sucks. I'm so sorry!! Did you have a good time anyway?

We took the kids to Tropicana to see the Rays against the Red Sox back in '06 before we spent our very first week at Disney. We haven't been back since but I don't remember it being bad but that was quite a few years ago. I love me a good game.

It's so fun to do last minute trips like that and what a great son to insist that you spend a day in Epcot! Ugh, it must have felt to frustrating to have to work out getting another room after seeing the one bed upon entering.
Episode 7 Ugh GIF by The Bachelor
They told me it was an upgrade. Is sleeping with your son really an upgrade?

Oh, I'm sure I have moments that my husband would cheerfully choke me, too. We all have our annoying qualities. My husband's happens to be wanting to change the plans because he doesn't understand how it all works. I'm a planner and he's a wing it type. He doesn't like being tied to a plan and I get anxiety without at least the basics arranged.
